My father mr. Rabindra kumar mahapatra is a customer of sbi g. Udayagiri branch. His account no is : [protected]. On 10th july, when my father was doing a transaction from the branch, he got cheated by a fraud, who exchanged my father's card with his card. Then the fraud person has withdrawan/transferred rs. 3, 18, 100 from my father's account. Since in a single day there is a limit of 40000 from the atm, he has done all the transaction from the branch itself. My question here is how the branch did not verify any document from the person for doing all those transaction? How was he able to withdraw and transfer 3, 18, 100 in a single day? Why did my father not receive any message or call? I strongly feel there is a lot of fault with the bank in this case. When you say you give the liberty to withdraw any amount from the branch, then there should be a proper identity check.
The transfer he has done is to : [protected]. And all the money from there is also withdrawn on the same day.
