Wrong EB Amt

Dear sir,
I would like to complain regarding Wrong EB amt mentioned. Yesterday I received an message from EB for paying Electricity bill Amt mentioned Rs. 590. Actually comparison of previous reading to present reading electricity consumed only 230 units. For 230 units Rs.590 is very high. Please check and revert back with correct amt to pay.

EB Bill amount high

Address: Haripriya Hotel,Babu Nagar, 87 Veppampattu

I had paid all old dues of [protected] connection in the name of T. AMMU. Last March 2021 bill was Rs.1004 and now bill is showing in online as Rs.6759 alongwith old arrears. Kindly share what are the arrears have been included in this bill and from when these arrears amount are lying as dues to pay to TNEB and how much unit have been considered in May 2021. Total Rs.6759 is very huge amount as my shop was closed more than 20 days in lockdown....

Wrong Meter Reading due to this I am affected to pay bill for 6 months together

I am living in Thoraipakkam PTC M.K.Chavadi Chennai-97. My house EB consumer number is [protected] .
we got the EB bill amount for May month (16/5/21) 350 rs and we paid immediate once we received the mail .
Recently Government has suggested the consumers to capture the snapshot of the meter reading and share with Assistant Eng WhatsApp Number or Email.

Excess Reading Amount

Address: No.3 1st street, Maheswari nagar,hasthinapuram

Sir the meter reading taken on 28/5/21 with comment previous assessment amount billed and bill has been generated for Rs.3298

But our last bill reading dated 28/08/21: 5660
Now Reading as on 31/5/21 : 6097
Total units consumed : 437 only

So Please look into this excess/ overcharged billing and revise the amount to paid before due date.

Excess/ Over charged billing

Dear SIr,

Sir i am a Doctor currently engaged in COVID-19 response activities. My service number is [protected] . Due to my job transfer outside chennai, my house is locked for more than 3 1/2 months with no/minimum electricity consumption.

Frequent power cut during night time.

Calculation of the amount to be paid for May,21 Bill.

It is learnt that Tangedco has posted the details of calculation of the amount to be paid towards May, 21 bill, in its web site, as meter reading and calculation of actual amount of the bill is not done by the regular assessor as usual in this month due to lockdown.Further, they have informed that the discrepancy in the amount will be adjusted against the bill of July, 21.They have confused also the consumers with 2 options:

Double payment for single bill

Wrong assessment of electricity charges

My house with G floor and I floor at L.N.P.Kovil street, :Pallikaranai, Chennai.600100. From January 2021 the I floor premises is vacant. As per previous reading on 29-3-21 the reading was 10 units and no payment due for I floor whereas for Ground floor which is in use the amount assessed being 590 units and I paid Rs.2334/. vide receipt on 5-4-21.
