Hello, this is Abhishek srivastava and I need to complain about fraud which has happened to me. I am from lucknow nd my number is [protected]. I was looking for a loan and I received a call nd these guys introduced themselves as Tata finance guys. They told abt there schemes and asked me to send my documents to the Which I sent. Then they told me to pay 15000 for an FD nd I pay them after much conversation. I deposited the amount in there Tata Pro account and they said I will get loan by Monday. then on Monday they told me that by saying that I will get loan amount by Wednesday and when I contacted today they said it cannot be sanctioned due to some issue. Moreover they are saying that I will get my deposit amount afer 30 days ... I m feeling that are frauds and some fraud business is going in delhi.plz help me... I have there documentation office address only. Plz stop these guys to make other also fools

These calls are evidently the work of some fraudster in an attempt to extract money by making false representations. Similar incidents of fraudsters pretending to be from Tata Capital and making fraudulent calls have also come to our notice earlier and we have already taken up the matter with the appropriate authorities for necessary investigation and action in the matter. Please also note that now there is no Tata company by the name “Tata Finance” and that the names of our companies are “Tata Capital Limited” and “Tata Capital Financial Services Limited”.

We therefore request you to exercise the precautions mentioned below as also file an FIR at your end to assist the investigation of the crime and so that the perpetrators can be brought to book.

i) Duly verify the authenticity of any calls, emails, SMS, websites or advertisements before parting with any monetary amount or sharing any document/s, either online or offline.
ii) All payments should preferably be made at the branches or vide cheques drawn in favour of “Tata Capital Financial Services Limited / Tata Capital Housing Finance Limited / Tata Securities Limited”. Payments should not be deposited in accounts standing in the name/s of any individual/s.
