This is to bring your kind attention regarding the failure to provide assistance by tata motors/authorized service centre. Yesterday my wife who was using kl-19-h-5795 tata nano xta, which had hardly clocked 6500km, had an unfortunate incidence of road side break down in nangiarkulangara haripad, alapuzha, kerala at 5.30 pm. On contacting the authorized service station focus thookulam, alapuzha, hardly 28 km from break down point, provided a toll free number for road side assistance. On contacting the number assurance was given for road side assistance, which was followed by an manned call from another executive, with promise of help, which never materialized, which is unacceptable. Two episodes of similar complaint of road side breakdown occured 4 weeks back, another episode 2 weeks back. The first episode of break down 4 weeks back was informed to focus motors thookulam alapuzha who promised on sending a staff for assistance which never materialized. Second incidence was also duly informed which also never materialized and eventually we had to find our means of taking the vehicle to focus where the regular service of vehicle was usually done. Following inspection of vehicle they returned the vehicle with assurance that there is no complaint of the vehicle nor they could not detect any fault with the vehicle. But yesterday's incident has crossed the limits. Third instance of promising assurance of road side assistance to a lady government medical professional which was not met and the inefficiency of authorized service centre to detect the technical issue is highly deplorable.
