My tata nexon xz+ petrol is flashing an abs warning light from the last one month.
On 21/08/2020, i visited an authorized tata service center (Veer motors) at hoshangabad road bhopal and after 6-7 hours, i was told that the abs sensor has malfunctioned and should be replaced but they didn't have the abs sensor available in their inventory so they told me to visit another service center located in the same city.
On 22/08/2020, i visited another service center (Varenyam motors) at govindpura bhopal to rectify the same problem. They checked the vehicle and after 4 hours, they said the same thing - that we don't have the abs sensor available in the inventory and they are ordering a sensor from tata motors. I was told to come back after 2 weeks once the part is available.
On 07/09/2020, i got a phone call from mr. Amit pradhan saying that the abs sensor is available now and i can bring my vehicle in to the service center.
On 12/09/2020, i visited the service center again and this time after 4 hours they said that the part received from tata motors is not compatible with my vehicle and they are again ordering a new part.
By this time i have already wasted 3 days of my life and looks like there are some more to come. The service center is saying that they had ordered the right part and it is not their fault. Mr amit pradhan gave me the same thing in written.
I am really not sure whose fault it is - the service center or the tata motors itself but it is giving me a real headache now.
My questions from tata motors are -
1) who is going to pay me for the time, energy, and fuel that got wasted?
2) who will be responsible for the losses if abs does not engage in an unfortunate situation while driving the vehicle?
3) should i recommend tata motors to my family and friends?
