" I have been a regular subscriber of Tatasky almost from inception. I have been remitting annual subscriptions and enjoy the benefits made available there too. Last year I paid Rs 3828 on 30th Jun 2022 towards the annual subscription of my package giving me additional one month's service. While going through the status recently I noticed that some Telugu channels were added in Feb and charges were debited without my concurrence, from the balance available in the annual subscription account. Actually I do not know Telugu and it is ridiculous to add such channels. When the matter escalated the first time it was told that the customer should keep a watch on his package regularly and report any changes. When it was informed that the package should not be altered without the consent of the customer the representative informed that it was done by some other broadcast department for many others as well and that the refund is not possible. If whatever is conveyed is true, it is a serious breach . Moreover with the debit of these unauthorised charges annual subscription also stood reduced taking away the benefit of additional one month's service.
Last year when I got it charged on 30th Jun 23, it was showing a due date Jul 2023. In Jun 23 when I saw, the due date it was modified to Jun 23 and fresh Telugu channels were added without my consent and debiting from the annual charges paid for chosen channels. This is a criminal breach of trust, may be when new channels are introduced annual subscribers are targeted to achieve targets. I hope I am wrong. They have refused refund. Please prevail on them to restore the unauthorised charges debited. I again recharged in Jun 23 and the due date should be Aug 2024.
