Yesterday when i got my innova car serviced at budha toyota, i had following grievances which i gave in writing also.
The engine oil refilled in my engine was thru hose reel pipe connection not having any brand or authenticity so i couldn't, t come to know which engine oil was poured in my vehicle. I have lodged complaint in writing. Pl look into this. If my engine develops any problem who will take this responsibility. This is a question on toyota to be trusted upon. There are other grievances but word limitation is restricting me in writing. Hope you will reply suitably and take corrective action against redressal of my complaint.

I purchased a toyota fortuner suv from galaxy toyota Haiderpur Delhi 5months ago
Yesterday tyre punchered and after that i stopped the car but tyre was totally damaged suddenly
I was surprised because i stopped the car at once but tyre was damage
Total running of car till now is 7500 KM

    Issue:
    Engine oil is getting completely dried up before the stated kilometers cycle, due to which engine oil has to be top up very frequently. This is a very high cost for me (As engine oil has to be topped up every 20 days, much before the kilometers cycle). I fear if this problem is not rectified, it will affect the engine.

    Issues observed since purchase and were not rectified even after multiple complaints to the service center and toyota india.
    (Out of many issues – for one issue they took around 4 months for them to rectify tire wobble issue and provide vehicle transfer papers from the date of purchase.)

      Mgf toyota sector 14 gurgaon is a big thief. They heavily charge for a problem and does no work at all. They takes payment and then says another part is to be changed. I paid 36 thousand for my last service. This time my gear lever was free. They charged 31 thousand. No work done. Now mr nitin kumar of mgf toyota says another part will be changed and it will come in 10 days. They are big big thief. Please don't send your car at mgf toyota.

      I book a Innova Crysta in Toyota lakozhy andheri East Mumbai. The booking amount is Rs 100000/ after taking booking the show room refuse to give car. And say that will refund the booking amount. But still they are not refunding. The sale's person doesn't receive calls. It is a mental Harrisment.

        The irony continues.
        Nobody is responsible for the customers.
        On christmas day somebody who addressed himself as senior executive called from m/s lanson toyota and enquired weather last time i was asked for a clutch overhaul. Now they are looking for milking some money out of this. I changed the clutch at close to 80000 km as advised.
        Is jap’s hand in glove with this. Do it. But not on the cost of quality.

        Subject: poor service quality and workmanship at toyota pallikaranai, chennai. Dear jap's

        I would like to bring to your notice the agony i went through after the service of my vehicle, tn 14 h 4282, innova, at m/s lanson toyota, pallikaranai, velachery.

        As a preface, earlier on two occasions, when i took my vehicle for service (Between 85000 km to 100000 km service), once the internal cleaning was so hopeless i had to send back the vehicle for re cleaning. Another occasion, when i drove back the vehicle after service, i observed a juddering noise from engine compartment when engine was raised. Mr john, customer care officer was immediately informed about this, he send a team to my residence. To my surprise the noise was from the bonnet support rod which was left unclipped on the chassis.

        This time my ordeal started on 23 rd november. I handed over my vehicle to m/s lanson toyota, pallikaranai, for replacement of rear bumper. On 25 th i was intimated by mr rajesh, who attended my vehicle, that my vehicle was ready. Since i have planned a long drive to kerala by 6th december, to attend my brothers marriage, i requested him to carry out the 105000 service which was approaching. My vehicle was serviced and was handed back to me on 25th november. To my surprise, the same juddering noise from engine was heard, but i opened the engine compartment and locked the bonnet support rod which was found hanging!!!

        On 27 th november, when i took the vehicle out of garage, a low screeching sound was heard, at the end of the clutch pedal movement when fully pressed. I ignored it, since it was not audible after some repeated usages. But it kept happening without any pattern, also i noticed that my speaker was not functioning, which was functioning before service, and only tweeters were working now.

        On 29 th november i took my vehicle for internal and external polish to a 3m service center, since i was going to attend a function at home town.
        On 4th morning since the clutch sound was persisting, i called up customer care manager mr john number again, which was forwarded to mr tony, who attended the call. He asked me to take the vehicle to service center which i did by 5 pm same day.

        I was received by mr tony, who handed over the vehicle to yard supervisor. Supervisor declined to attend the issue citing the music system was not toyota make. He checked the clutch pedal, instructed the team to apply grease. I convinced him that the speakers were working prior to service and requested to check the cables/wires/contacts etc. He obliged, my vehicle was taken to floor. On floor the vehicle was visible to me and i could see one or two technicians attending my vehicle for 10 to 15 minutes. After that the vehicle was left alone. After almost 1 to 1.5 hours, when i enquired about the vehicle i was told that the problem was with the music system. I agreed and requested the vehicle back, since i was in a hurry, as i was driving to home town (650 km approx) next night.

        Since i could not travel on 5th night, i started my journey to tellicerry kerala, on 6th morning by 5 am with my family. The clutch sound was still there!

        During driving after almost 350 km, when we stopped for breakfast, i found one fastening nut on the floor in front of left passenger seat. (Photo attached) i was a bit worried on other areas where service engineers could have attended.

        I reached home same day by 4 pm. Next day when i started cleaning my vehicle, i was shocked to see the pilar tweeter on the left door falling down on the floor. On further examination of my car, i found that the plastic fixture near the rear right glass was misplaced, a green cable was visible, and there was oil marks on the doors of my car (Photos attached). This was disgusting. I spent more than rs 10000/- to clean my vehicle, with the marriage function in sight. (Bill attached).

        I immediately called mr john's number again which was attended by mr tony. I explained him the issues, and surprisingly he asked me to take the vehicle to service center on by return to chennai!!!. I gave him a mouthful. After some time, mr thulasi, who addressed himself as customer service manager called me up and was apologetic on the mess up.

        I consider this as a serious breach of trust of customers like me, who blindly put their faith on toyota. I am absolutely unhappy with the way my vehicle was attended, and the agony i faced during my drive. I had to change the idea of driving the bridegroom to function and arrange another vehicle for the function to avoid any embarrassments during the drive. I was very disturbed during by drive back to chennai, as i was not sure what to expect next.

        I sincerely request you to suggest a competent service center, for my future services, or allow me to take the vehicle to a private garage.

        I am more concerned about the deteriorating standards, quality checks after service etc, which surely will have a cumulative effect on the trust we customers bank on with toyota.

          I clearly told the executive that i do not cross 10, 000 kms a year.
          I was told that the smile package covers servicing up to 20, 000 kms and i paid around 3600 for it. After making the payment the representative told me that it is valid for 1 year only. And when i asked to cancel the smiles package, he told me that it can not be reverted.
          And when i complained that to the customer executive, i think sunil kumar called from [protected] and when i was explaining about my smiles package experience he was laughing and when i question about it he was telling that he was told to smile. Toyota should teach them the difference between smile and laugh.
          Also he was telling me that in the printout they gave me they mentioned the smiles package expiry date also before i made the payment.
          How come on this earth one can mention the expiry date in the receipt without making the payment. He is telling me that as if i do not know the abcs of it. This is a clear case of cheating. I request toyota authorities to take stringent action on this.

          The consumer Amit Kumar Ojha was decieved by "Rajendra Toyota Varanasi" and two years old Etios Crass Car of model 2015 has been sold to him as a new car in 2017. Not only that, the entire cast of the new car of 2017 model was recieved from the consumer. Now the agency officials Mr. Vimal Shah & Manoj Mishra have refused to give any help to consumer through self fabricated documents.

          This famous company Toyota's so-called reputation is created by its agency Rajendra Toyota Varanasi whose fraudster officials Vimal Shah and Manoj Mishra fooled consumer Amit Kumar Ojha and sold the 2015 model car at the price of a new car in 2017.
          I consumer Amit Kumar Ojha was decieved by "Rajendra Toyota Varanasi" and an old Etios Crass Car of model 2015 has been sold me as a new car in 2017.             Re: complaint against toyota - innova crysta 2.8 z (7 seater)

            This is to bring to your kind notice that we have taken the delivery of above vehicle on 30.10.2017 vide your gate pass no. Sgp17026152. We are using this vehicle for our family purpose and never involve any driver as also we run the vehicle at a low speed only. We are yet to receive the final invoice for the total amount paid, though you have issued receipts for the payment made.

            To our great surprise less than 30 days, after running the vehicle for 900 kms, we could observe that air pocket has been developed in front side right side tyre without any reason when we were driving the vehicle from bilwara to ahmedabad it was lucky that the vehicle was in low speed and there was no vehicle immediate behind our vehicle. Luckily we could control the vehicle hence no damage was caused to the vehicle and inmates n the vehicle. If we could not control the vehicle immediately it would have been a major accident when women and children were in the vehicle at that time.

            Immediately, thereafter, we have approached your office for the replacement of tyre and requested for free replacement. However, you have replaced the tyre extending only 75% discount, instead of free replacement which we have accepted under protest.

            Alas! Within few days i. E. 15-20 days from the above incident right side of rear tyre bust when we were going from rajkot to ahmedabad. The vehicle hit the bush near the roadside and no major damages happened to the vehicle, whereas children and ladies in the vehicle was afraid of jerking of the vehicle and we have to treat them for sudden fever for few days. At this time, the meter reading was 1550. Kms. Only.

            While going through various complaints raised by toyota customers, it is noticed you are using low profile tyre with such a heavy vehicle causing such problems.

            If the tyres are burst within a span of one and half months from the date of purchase, that too after running the vehicle for 1550 kms, we are afraid the problem is not only with the quality of tyres but also the manufacturing fault of the vehicle you supplied.

            It is very risk to run this vehicle in such a condition as we will be playing the life of family members if we run this vehicle further.

            The tyre has been handed over to your office for their observation and the vehicle is lying idle in my residence.

            You are, therefore, requested to kindly look into the matter and arrange to replace this vehicle with good quality tyres and other accessories immediately.

            If you do not accept our request in the right spirit we will be compelled to take up the matter through consumer court for the financial loss and mental tension suffered by us.

            Please look into the matter and reply me immediately when you are arranging the replacement of this vehicle with quality tyres and other accessories.

              Sir,
              I mohd rais abdul manihar from mumbai maharashtra, i have a toyota etios gd d4d since last 1 year, i am running a tourist business named on nawaz tour and travels, there is some critical problem of oil consumption coming after 3rd service, which was nearest to my residential by madhuban toyota kurla (W) mumbai. 3rd service was done on 21267 kms, driven, hence after 3rd service done by madhuban toyota, i m facing a problem of oil consumption. I took my car to madhuban toyota dated 29/08/2017 and the km diven was 39756 kms, i complaint them about the oil consumption in my car, they took my car to a service area they done some sort of checkup in car and done a service of car like gaskit, break fluid, air refiner, etc. This was paid service and the total invoice amount charged was 6, 645.00. They told me that problem is solved now, if again u face a problem of oil comsumption then bring your car again to a service center after 5, 000 kms, but the problem of oil consumption was not yet solved, again i took my car at madhuban toyota after 5, 000 kms driven dated 27/09/2017 and the kms diven was 44242 kms, they again done the checkup and service and the total invoice amount was charged was 629.88 hence they told me we are not able to find the problem against oil consumption in your car and they didnt took any action against my car and the same oil consumption problem i am facing. This is very bad that i have to fear in all this matter after taking a new car, hence its my request to a toyota india to solve problem of my car in every aspect i am totally unsatisfied with toyota service. I am planning to by an another toyota but after facing such problem by service department my mind is totally distracted... It is like that your department had took my trust on toyota and i am not liable to suggest toyota vehicle to any one.
              Its an humble request to you all to solved the oil cunsumption problem in my toyota etios gd d4d vehicle.

                I am the owner of toyota etios vehicle no tn 74 ad - 81878. Yesterday december 14, 2017 i sent my car to service at anamalais toyota at nagercoil. But the quality of water service is not good. It was good at trinelveli but the service is very bad at nagercoil, i could see mud and stains still remain in my car.

                I can see stains around the windows and dust was there while opening the doors. Speedy action my step up the integrity of totyota and anamalais management especially at nagercoil

                I have this car for more than four years and this is the first time i am complaining about the water service.

                  I have lost total trust on your vehicle
                  There is a problem in the vehicle when the vehicle is parked for two to three hours it will never start at all, i have got this problem for three times with in five months of delivery.in display it’s shows like “smart entry & start system malfunction see owners manul “ i called trs i have logged a complaint, then technician came to the place where the car stopped, he checked and he didn’t know what’s the problem only, so he told that car to be towed to the service station, in ravindu toyota (Rajkumar road iskcon temple) technician didn’t not get the solution for the starting problem at all, so it’s a manufacture default vehicle i don’t want this vehicle so please exchange the vehicle or else pay back my money back i don’t want your vehicle at all...

                    I have a huge respect toward toyota cars because of its quality but there is a lack in quality in Innova crysta tyres and alloy. I own two Innova of 2007 and 2014 model and they are absuletly awesome but my new crysta which was bought from Viva Toyota Bangalore in the month of Nov 2016 has serious life threatening issues with tyres and brakes. I recently got the back wheel alloy changed by claiming insurance in the month of Oct 2017 at Ravindu Toyota thinking its the problem of low profile tyres but again the same wheel has been damaged due to the poor quality of the tyre and alloy . Hence I had to leave the vehicle at Viva toyota of airport road and they are very casual about the problem and states that claim an insurance and get the tyre changed. I have been asking them to write a mail stating about the problem and non of them are bothered aboout it . They sate the damage is caused by external impact and i know how I drive and I can strongly say there is a problem with the tyres and alloy of crysta. A person named Madhu from Viva toyota is very rude over the call and there is no way we can reach the management. They just try to camafledge the issue. If you are really concerned about the life of the public and your customers just Call off all defective crysta vehicles and replace them with new parts. This should not harm the image of Toyota . Japanese companies are know for customer oriented approach and I feel there is a serious problem in getting the right information to the management. I gifted that car to my mom and dad and they are the ones who travel in it. I don’t want to put them in trouble. If you can’t solve the problem I want to return the car back to the company and give back my money. I can’t take risk with my family members as the issue is with the tyre, alloy and brakes which are the most important ones for automives. I have attached a video which is already going viral about the issue. Kindly look into the same and give us a permanent solution so our next generation can accept your quality with our any doubt .

                      I am using innova crysta. I have changed my front bumper on dec 2 from nippon toyota showroom kayamkulam. The service amount is rs.16000. After the service i have seen a gap on left bumper. When i mentioned about it to the advisors (Sijo and anas) they didn't take much interest to resolve the problem they told need to pay additional amount rs.4000. The customer service was too bad. I am using toyota for the second time and i didn't except this from toyota. I suggested my family member to take toyota liva but now i will not suggest them. If you don't take further action i will complaint about toyota to the consumer court.

                        I had bought inova crysta, i am facing problem with tyres. Tyres are getting punctures with in less kms (5000) and also getting burst at the same time due to that alloy wheels are getting bend. And the other problem i am facing with my vehicle is brake and steering.
                        When i am applying break at 100 speed the steering gets heavy vibration. I had reported the compliant to the company they had changed all the break bads and issue had solved but again after 10 days i am facing same issue. There is no response from the company.

                          My toyota fortuner has a knocking issue coming from the car since a month. The car was inspected 3 times and has been inspected with all the senior staff in service wing but they have till not been able to encounter the issue.
                          I want toyota to check this noise issue as in my first experience i was suprised that how your service advisor said that your car is fine and fit for the road. Toyota management policies and our company being leader supplier to most oems in aluminium i fail to understand that a senior service advisor is not here to examine the issue and kindly give me aaction plan for the same.

                            I’m ‘mohit grewal’ s/o “virender singh grewal”. Since, 2014 i’m using this vehicle. (Details of the car are enclosed, vehicle registration - hr26cf0033). All went well for all these years, at time of buying the product sales team pitches so many, qualities about the car that we decide to take the delivery. Car was given by my father as my ‘birthday gift’.
                            Coming to the point, on this diwali i was just driving the vehicle & coming back to my home, suddenly one rickshaw driver came in between the way. I rotated/revolved the steering towards the other side to save him but unfortunately, other side was a deep fall down. (Rickshaw puller was completely safe).
                            I tried to hold the vehicle, using brake but somehow, nothing went well. I got stuck in the vehicle wearing the ‘seat belt’ & it’s was going towards down as a “rollar coaster ride”. I took 3-4 rounds and got turtled. I remember, the commitment from your side ‘air bags’ which generally works, open-up at these scenario’s to save lives but “concept failed”. Somehow, i manage to off the belt & jump out of the vehicle which actually saved my life on that day.
                            My birthday gift was turning into my ‘death place’.
                            Real shame for such huge brand where our life is critically under risk. Every member sales, country person’s says, ” wear seat belt so that ‘air bags’ save you in scenario’s but, who knows ‘it’s a failed concept”.
                            What is the use of spending enough amount on ‘toyota’. Vehicle with airbags low variant to higher variant price different of around 4-6 lac… for what.. Really want to know..
                            Top of it,
                            When i get over from the situation, i gave my vehicle to toyota dealer (Mgf toyota, gurgaon) for repairing & as per them vehicle is beyond repair. Now’ i’m completely lost & it’s a ‘mental trauma’ stage for me. Where 1 say, i see all whatever has done at the time of car accident.. Another, i’m under lac’s of amount now…
                            Estimate received by mgf toyota suggests that car will cost approx rs22 lacs (Without tax, if possibility of repairing is there), post tax the amount might increase to rs.28 lacs and above which would be above that i paid while i had bought it earlier as new.
                            Everyone is passing the concern to other hand. What about the customer who trusted you soo much & in return it’s costing a ‘life’. Pictures attached which is a clear evidence of wrong product.
                            Finally, toyota is just finding excuses to get rid from the concern, if you go back to the history of 2014, we can able to find that it’s a manufacturing defect in all toyota 2014 models (Airbag).. Pl. Check on web
                            Another theory of toyota or getting rid of giving answer, if vehicle hit straight then only airbag works.. So every time there’s should be an angle & person need to make sure to accident in straight angle. No one hit their vehicle straight to the wall to check the air bag functioning. How funny is that.
                            At the time of selling the product, no one disclosed, this angle concept.
                            Vehicle was hit from front side then turned 5-6 rounds. Front portion was damaged (Since toyota has confirmed it as a totalled) ….. Sensor means it should sense the slightest and tiniest of sense in scenario of accident, instead in my case my car was going mary-go-round, it should have immediately active’ (0.003 sec).. But seems sensor also, work on some angle’s.

                            Toyota is just fooling around by just saying "we have escalated it to our superiors" from past 2 months, and no resolution is given to me.
                            Demand justice & revert from toyota on wrong product.

                            On date 25.11.2017 a complain lodge by me for my new vehicle innova crystal vx model disc broken on running condition at satna m.p. dealer DV Automotive Santa. The dealer register my complain and open FI no FISTO1A17007 but by your side you have not solve my complain . So please resolve my complain and change my broken disc. Thanks

                              1) within one month of purchase of vehicle some problem occured in instrument pannel for which the car was parked in authorised service centre for one week. None of your engineers could understand the problem and it took one week for new instrument pannel to be fitted in my car..
                              2) 35 lakhs ruppees car getting rusted in 3 months...!!! Amazing but not the car i am having for past 10 years (Hats off to hyundaii)
                              Its surprising to see that the car chrome getting rusted in 3 months (Photographs attached)
                              Again this time the service center came with the non sense excuse that the company has given the instruction just to clean it whenever it get rusted. So as per this rule i need to rush to service center on daily basis to get it cleaned

                                We bought a innova car from om toyota, mi road, jaipur (Raj).in the first five month of car the gears of car are not working properly. When we contact sales officer and company from where we purchase it, they deny to repair it even car is in warranty period on the ground that it is not covered by technical issue.
                                But in our opinion and our insurer opinion opinion it is technical fault which should be replaced by company because it is in the warranty period.
                                Now we have left the car in the showroom of toyota but they are not repairing it and asking us to pay additionaly.
                                I am complaining the matter please do needful as soon as possible as we need our car on daily basis otherwise i have to take legal actions.

                                  Dear sir:

                                  Please see the exchange of emails and suggest if this is they way to get your premium car model fortuner to be handled by the dealer. I cannot understand that fortuner as a product can have snag costing ~25000/- rs when it is done for 25k on road. For details please refer the exchange below. The car is still with dealer and no commitment is made on this.

                                  I stongly feel that this is an issue which toyota as a company shall also consider to expedite by providing proper instruction to the dealer.

                                  Thanks for the update. However, please note that i have had call with asit on this issue. As in during previous service a similar fault was identified by the agency in differential and was corrected. Please see history available with you. Since this time too the problem is arising from differential hence any expense relating this problem be covered by the agency.

                                  Moreover, a vehicle of this cost giving such problems on only 25km run is a huge concern to me. Don't you as agency and toyota as company is able to recognise this? If not then i will have to raise this concern beyond you all. Kindly advise.

                                  More so, i find that your email is silent on when can this be fixed and vehicle be ready for delivery. Please note the no. Of days taken by you to revert on this.

                                  I am not sure if you were able to get these parts for repair? Can i have my vehicle delivered tomorrow?

                                  I am not happy with the service provided thus far. Kindly expedite. Please also let me know immediately when can it be delivered?

                                  This is in response to your feedback shared with us regarding your toyota fortuner bearing reg. No. Up16au5804. We regret the inconvenience caused to you.

                                  Further we would like to update you that, your vehicle reported to our dealership dated 26-11-17 regarding excessive noise which coming from inside of the vehicle hence for same necessary inspection carried out where on diagnosis we observed noise coming from rear side (Inside of differential & wheel bearing) as both part found faulty.

                                  Hence we would like to inform you that few child parts of differential assembly (Crown bearing, pinion bearing, pinion seal & nut) & rhs wheel bearing need to be replace.

                                  However, as explained to you previously, the warranty of your vehicle has already expired on 12-5-17 hence it would not be possible for us to cover the replacement of the mentioned part under warranty.

                                  Hence as suggested to you earlier the damaged part has to be replace on charges basis only. We hope the issue stand clarified.

                                    I love the innova have done 330000 on the old generation and yet have it none of the rims have got a bent.. The new crysta with 17” rim one tyre has got a bubble and 2 rims got bent at just 30000km and 2 more at 50000km both cars are driven on the same road... Read other blogs seems the tyre height on 17” is not fit for indian roads that’s the reason i feel toyota has even changed the tyre rim size to 16”

                                        We have purchased innova crysta 2.4 v7 seater vehicle recently.. Within 60 days of purchase our a. C air filter got damaged and took to nearest innova service station. They told rats have damaged the airfilters and i had to spend another 2k to get the airfilters changed. I heard that on complaining about such instances toyota will send people from they office and take action so that instances such as above will not happen in future. My vehicle registration no. Is ts07ft5033 and registered owner is me (G. Kishore reddy) and address is 6-4-210/lig-108, phase-4, vanasthalipuram, rangareddy dist. - 500070. So, request to resolve the issue immediately or let me know the contact person no. So that such incidents doesnot happen in future.
