My car is having manufacturing defect.

Toyota etios gd-2012 model -50, 000kms run only - single handed

1. I got shocker problem in 1 month of purchase. Later toyota accepted and added spacer with commitment of taking care in future but now no response and asking for charge. Problem arise again in 3yrs but no resolution till now from 2yrs.

2. I got engine problem after 3 yrs with less than 50000 kms only.
Engine oil is consuming before[protected]kms. It is draining fully after this run.

Ideally it should be changed at every 10000 kms. Company not accepting problem and asking to fill engine oil at every 5000 kms with no reason.

Getting no resolution from toyota team and only getting false commitment.
Horrible service and response.

Never buy toyota car.

    Subject: Car damaged while servicing
    My car Innova crysta Up 73 N 1088 was given for servicing and claim on 5 November to Allahabad service centre they hb ave delayed in returning the car as well as the car met with an accident by them it is badly damaged specially the bumper bonnet and scratched all over on driver side On top of this they are not ready to give the claim and are misbehaving .I needed the car immediately as there's marriage ceremony at my home
    Kindly take some action against them and see to it. Obliged.

      Hi, i am not getting good response from service team. They are not able to identify my car problem even after service. Still my car has problems like front break noise, engine noise, emits very thick and black smoke, fuel tank issue, wheel bearing noise, front door noise, seat noise. These are only few i am listing, my car has been damaged after service the white field branch have damaged my car and not repairing. The service guy by name agil was ready to pay but no repair done till now, for this even i have made an comp ailment to service manger. He responded very bad with unparlimentary words and least bothered to the customer. Need to talk to right person on this issues hence request you share contact details. All service guys don't know how to solve the car problem. The service guys say to drive say as there is warranty. My car number ka05ag1034. You can check the repair track record. The service guy say car has come with all defects hence it can't be resolved. I have attached videos which has problems for your reference. Even toyota technicians are not able to resolve. They don't pick up my calls but if i call from unknown phone number they pick up the calls. This is very bad respond from toyota. You give respond to white board do you think it is free of cost for yellow boards. I am the owner of my car and this has so many problems. Need fast response the local guy can repair why not toyota service center. I have visited all service center in bangalore. I have all evidences and proof with me.

        Hi,

        I was contacted by mr nandha kumar of nandi toyota hosur road and asked me to bring the vehicle for inspection, i took the vehicle on friday 10th november, on inspection we found a tyre bulge with a side wall puncture which is used as spare wheel and a crack in the rear tyre, photographs were taken and i was told i will be updated on the outcome by monday.

        When i spoke to mr nandha kumar on monday he said nothing can be done on the issue.

        I am sharing my concerns here so that toyota can step in and resolve.

        1. The tyre are having issues and it is also confirmed on inspection.
        2. I am not having confidence to drive on these tyre as i go for long drives ranging 500-600kms stretch in different terrains.
        3. These could lead to potential accident risking my family and friends including me travelling on this car.
        4. I have bought a top end model and such things should really not bother me.
        5. I had options of a tata or a mahindra which should have costed me 15-16 lakhs versus toyota which i choose for 26 lakhs.
        6. Unhappy with the way issues are being dealt and feel toyota is losing corporate culture interacting with taxi people day in.

        I request an escalation in this matter and someone from toyota to get involved / call me in this regard

          I am innova type 4 use, after launching crysta we are facing a problem and fedup with il. We cant get our model innova s accessories to make our vehicle charmy after any claim, ore dunts etc plz try to understand our situation we are also in toyota family then why you avoiding us.. So please re make old innova and fortuners accessories like crome, upskirt, door beeding... Etc

            This complaint is regarding my rc book. I bought a car from toyota u trust in the month of july and now it's november end and have not got my rc book. These people are simply cheating customers. Two employees harish and raj are keeping me busy here and there not taking my calls and telling lies.. I just want my rc book. After that i will never use or recommend any one to buy from toyota. This showroom is de faming the while toyota brand.

              My first complaint that nobody is attending our complaint nor they bothered to solve it, various calls are coming noting the complaint and then no reply
              Our observation says that callers does not have any authority
              Or knowledge, numbers of calls in the subject makes us upset and confused.

              My dealer is situated at worli, mumbai, car number is mh 14 1299,
              Subject matter of complaint is excessive charges for servicing?
              My car has already exceeded the servicing of 20000 km, i think that car may create technical issue, how to and who will solve it?

              I have extended warranty, how can i get refund of it, if i doing outside
              Sevice station?

              I seek reply in the matter urgently.

              Yesterday we had lodged a complaint regarding over pricing in service

              charges, our dealer sinrai toyota, worli, our complaint is not resolved

              or not been attended by anybody, i hope the matter will be resolved soon.

                Dear concerned,
                We are sorry to say that your car services is very poor and fake billing created by sunny toyota, lucknow.

                No internal cleaning done by center.

                Work for suspension done by dated 16.10.2017 (Charges rs. 2275) and again working by dated 11.11.2017.

                17 days hold the vehicle by service center.

                We are very disappointed by services and think about to lodge consumer complaint.

                Please look into the matter and do the needful.

                  We have Toyota Innova car GJ3DG 9064 Named- DHIRAJLAL K SURANI. We are regular service over car at your Rajkot location services center.

                  We faceing so many problems in service of our car from last 3/4 services. Like so many time lapping, olny in oil change and filter change thay take 3/4 days in service because of thay internal problems.Thay didn't service our car properly like washing and so many other things.

                  Here we attended some photos of washing of car which didn't properly.

                  We face so many problems in service even if we are paying full service charge.

                  So take a note of this matter ...ASAP.

                    I left my liva vehicle ka 09 c 7890 at showroom (Palace toyota, mysore) on 18.10.2017 against accidental repair. And i paid advance on 03.11.2017 after the insurance approval. They told that they will deliver the vehicle within 10days, but they still haven't taken the vehicle into the ramp. They are conveying the message that they have lot of work or vehicles to be repaired and they don't have empty ramp. And i'm fed of hearing - "we'll take your vehicle tomorrow" from your service advisors. It's almost 10 tomorrow's & i think it may take me to count more...

                    In that case, if they don't have empty ramp; they would have told me before receiving advance. I would have searched for the alternate. I can't wait more than this that to buying a new car for commercial purpose...

                    So please register my complaint and get my vehicle repaired soon. Expecting your kind and favourable reply in this regard.

                      I shashank bajpai have booked innova crysta zx 7s with rajendra toyota, i have disburses 18, 00, 000.00 rs to rajendra toyota on 29.09.2017, they have given me receipt,... Till date they have not deliver my vehicle, mr. Bimal shah employee of company never give ans to my call.. They are using my money from last two month, and not answering to my call, even they are not refunding my money, even i have complain to innova customer care, they are also not doing anything... Please anyone can help me to provide contact detail of any director no of innova, or senior person who can take responsibility... Or else i will file consumer complaint

                        I am writing to seek your attention to a problem which i experienced and still causing me some concern. It's regarding the manufacturing defects in the new innova crysta car from toyota.

                        It was on december 2016 i bought a new innova crysta car (Ka04ms5859) from ravindu toyota opp iskon, bangalore. Not even 4 months of purchase, i encountered issues with the vehicle tyre. Initially the issue was with bubble formation on the tyre outer wall which was replaced after complaint, but even with the replacement of the tyre with a new one, the issue continued and also led to another case. This time it was the tyre rim, which left a crack from inside. I addressed this issue to the showroom, for which they tried to reverse the blame on us, stating that the car was driven on potholes. I tried to explain them that it was a manufacturing defect, as the damage was from the inner side of the rim, which they didn't agree. I even took the matter to their higher authority, for which i haven't got any sort of reply/response yet. Later i got the tyre replaced by my own, and left the issue as i got to know that it would only waste my time.

                        Now, the same issue occurred with one my relatives new car of the same model innova crysta, where the tyre rim left crack while driving. Now its all clear that, it is a manufacturing defect associated with this series of innova crysta as per my former complaint, which the company neglected and left it unchecked. What if this
                        Defect led to some accident, fortunately we didn't face that situation, their might be families/kids in car. The company's primary preference should be the safety of the passengers travelling in the car, which i hope their not taking it that much serious. Invested about 28 lakhs on a vehicle which doesn't assure safety and service that too from a reputed company like toyota.

                        I hope you would look on to the matter and insist ravindu toyota to check and rectify their manufacturing defects with their vehicles. I hope this problem to be resolved before it leads to another bigger issue.

                        I purchased etios car from globe toyota ambala but it has started consuming engine oil and the defect they r not able to rectify the defect and after inspecting the vehicle they r recomending me to alter the service schedule from regular 10000 km to 5000km .

                          I want to buy toyota fortuner top variant but there was no test drive vechicle for the customers whereas endeavour and desicovery sports are available for us and they have provided me test drive and they give better services as compared to you. So that at last conclusion i m done ford endeavour. Please improve your services for the customer this is very bad for your esteemed brand.

                            I am sajith uthaman, owner of sree lakshmi cashew exports, anchal, kollam. I have purchased an innova crista on 23/01/2017, model code : gun142r-mxmhyx, vin no mbjab3em[protected], engine no 2gd-a062257, holding registration no kl-25-j-5555. I have given the vehicle for the second free service on 27/04/[protected]@5798kms. At that time i have found the tyres are worn on the sides. But the service personally replied that they have rectified it. I have done the above said complainton third service also on 21/05/[protected]@9926kms. That time also the service manager replied me the same while returning the vehicle. This complaint was not rectified and again on 26/09/2017, @15565kms, i have given for service and complained. But now the tyre is completely worn and there is no grip. I think you have fixed a second quality tyres for my vehicle or there is some manufacturing defect for my vehicle. Kindly change the tyres for me and rectify the complaint or replace the vehicle to me. Or i will be forced to go for legal actions.

                              Issue description:
                              Ka01 ml 6792
                              26th october 2017 10pm we have started the car towards hosur from electronic city phase1. We traveled 20 km in the highway till highway

                              Toll and engine got stopped, when we checked front pannet there so much heat in the engine we waited 30 minutes and tried to start its

                              Not started. Then we arranged toe vehicle and taken the car in to hosur road nandi toyoya service center midnight around 2am.
                              First they updated car is under warranty so we can claim this after the investigation. First checkups they told thermostat spring got

                              Jamm so coolend not circulated now saying the tube got damaged.
                              From toyota kirloskar also the engineers came 6th or 7th nov 2017 and visited, they given feed back like the issue can't claim under

                              Warranty.
                              The update saying a coolant oil tube damaged so coolant oil leakage happened after that engine got heat. This is not issue as we aware

                              Nowhere coolant oil leakage where we parked or during driving. What i am saying there could be the reason after engine got heat the

                              Tube got damaged.
                              I need a clear report and solution to claim this under warranty, we can't afford to pay from our hand as there is no physical damage

                              Completely related to the engin products. So i kindly request and take this forward immediately and help me to get the vehicle

                              Repaired under warranty. As i have very good opinion on your brand name and services.

                                Sir please i requestd your company, vehicle, service are good. But in your service there is still 100000km warrant. But why are your company is not giving the parts replacement warranty. But in my vehicle have now warranty. But your company says i not have a warranty. But you should replace my warranty parts. Other wise i should see another way. Please i requestd you.

                                  You always call for feedback whether i have received a solution or not, each and every time i reply you that non of person has called me from your end or from dealer's end.

                                  Your representative always "lies" that he/she is escalating complain to next level and will received solution in next 24 hours but i don't understand your 24 hours trends to be approx 24months?

                                  Height of lies, cheating, breach of trust, failure of commitments!

                                  Your dealer is sharing that locked was damaged prior to giving for servicing of vechicle, pls prove it? I'll stop escalating further.

                                  I have proof that at the time of vehicle taking i'm asking toyota representative for explanation which is recorded in cct, which you can check

                                  I have purchased a Toyota Etios Cross last year.

                                  Details of vehicle as under :

                                  (a) Registration Number : GJ 05 JQ 2489
                                  (b) Engine Number : 1ND14499736
                                  (c) Chassis Number : MBJK49BT[protected]

                                  Since the time of purchase, I have been continuously facing issues with this vehicle.

                                  (a) Car battery suddenly stopped working and I had to replace it with a new one from your Infinium Toyota Showroom - Gandhidham ( Gujarat ). Since the vehicle is under 3 years warranty, this replacement of battery went free for me. But we were quite surprised that a new purchased vehicle may have this battery issue in just 6-7 month of purchase.

                                  (b) Motor of glass window of front passenger seat had also stopped working in around 8 months of vehicle purchase. I had to replace it with a new one from your Infinium Toyota Showroom - Gandhidham ( Gujarat ). Since the vehicle is under 3 years warranty, this replacement went free for me. But we were quite surprised that a new purchased vehicle may have this issue.

                                  (c) Since the time of purchase, we have been continuously facing sound issues from Dashboard area when Car is running on a Rough Patch of road. I had given my vehicle for 2-3 times to your Infinium Toyota Showroom - Gandhidham ( Gujarat ) for getting this repair. But still, we are facing this issue.

                                  If you check your system, you can trace that we have been continuously facing some or the other issues with this vehicle. We have registered complains which remained un-resolved.

                                  We are completely annoyed with this purchase and the kind of service associated with this product.

                                  We have invested a good amount behind this vehicle...but purchasing a Toyota Product has turned out to be a bad experience for us. Something, that we will never repeat again in future.

                                  If you guys are not able to offer an appropriate service, then there is no point advertising your product saying " Its All About Drive "... as your product is not good for drive ( this has been our experience so far )

                                  To add on...your customer care team is good for nothing...I think Toyota has just trained them to keep lying to customers...

                                  I would rather suggest the people reading this not to purchase any TOYOTA product...
                                  When the vehicle run in speed of 100 then vehicle has vibrate and break not working properly .
                                  We have all ready physically checked the vehicle in Toyota workshop 4 times but the problem of vehicle not solve
                                  I request to your good self please coprate us and solve our problem.

                                      It is unfortunate to submit this complaints regarding very poor service by your rajkot authorised service centre after regular service from the year 2009. My Innova no, GJ10AC4764 was not starting on 23rd october morning near my residence at jamnagar due to some problem which was unknown to us. Then we called rajkot service deptt. they told to send the vehicle through toe.We have sent accordingly. They were also unable to trace the problem and told us to get new key because key issue might be there. They also told that after key issue other problem can be identified.But they were unable to start the vehicle through their expertise. So, I am very much unhappy how they are servicing so many years . I need immediate action to sort out the problem

                                        Hi, i'm writing from izmir, turkey. Last week i tried to buy “new” corolla car from "toyota plaza tokullar which is authorized dealer of toyota in gaziemir/izmir/turkey. I paid all the cost of car on 25 october 2017 and i tried to enter the car in tokullar showroom as same as i wanted to buy. But the car's doors were locked. Employees said to me that"the car's battery has been used up!!! And they would charge the battery again soon. After this situation i left from tokullar.
                                        On 28 october 2017 at 10.30 turkey local time (As we talked with sale officer), i went to take my “new” car, but the “sales manager” tried to sell me “display product car” without any warning or informing which has been shown, tried by numerous people in tokullar showroom and with a charged battery (Even i witness battery's charge 1 time, i couldn't know how many times this happened.) this car was dirty, score, with finished and changed battery. I wanted to buy first hand car but more people get on this car which “sales manager” trying to sell me than second hand car “for testing” that car. I told him i didn’t want display product car. But he forced me buying that car. He was very rude to me. He said that “i worked for 12 years for tokullar toyota and we were doing this all the time”. I can’t believe how can happened this at toyota. L feel so disappointed. And i said that sales manager “i gave you about 70.000 turkish liras for first hand car and i dont want to buy display product.” he said to me “you have to take delivery of this car, if you don't take this car from galeria now you can't take your money back and also you have to pay parking payment for each day, we don't have any responsibilty to tell you selling display product car, if you asked that, we would say, but you didnt told us not to wanted to buy display product car.”. I couldn't believe my ear. Can you imagine that i needed to ask to them dont sell me display product car!! I have recorded a video includes all about this sales manager's rudeness, tyranny and enforcing behavior.

                                        Finally, when i went tokullar which is authorized dealer of toyota i couldn’t take first hand new car, also i don't have my 70.000 turkish liras anymore. I tried to solve my problem with toyota/turkey;i called and they said to me that send e-mail, after that i sent e-mail on 29 october and talked with live support on web site. But they didn’t get back to me until this time.
                                        I realy know that toyota is not such a company and you are not aware that these kinds of events are happening, especially with this sales manager.
                                        Could you please help me about my victimization as soon as possible?
