Travolook — Refund of Amount for cancellation of Flight

Sir/Mam,
I booked a flight ticket with booking REF[protected] using travolook on 17th August 2021 and the payment was successful.

However, the ticket has been cancelled from travolook side.Details enclosed.

Immediately i emailed them requesting for refund on 18th Aug, the reply for the same received from Travolook is reiterated below;

This email is regarding your booking reference number : REF[protected] We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

This is to inform you that your reservation was cancelled due to an operational reason .

Refer to your discussion with our agent dated 17-Aug-2021.Please be informed that the refund will be initiated at our end and the amount will reflect back to the same bank account within 10-15 working days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and Gazetted holiday).

However no refund has been received, i was mailing then frequently taking over phone call to their customer care representative.

For my email on 09th September 2021, they replied once again stating as below;

Dear Customer, Greetings from Travolook.in!

This email is regarding your booking reference number : REF[protected]
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

Please be informed that the refund will be initiated at our end and the amount will reflect back to the same bank account within 05-07 working days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and Gazetted holiday). Your patience in this regard will be highly appreciated.

But, no action has been initiated even after a month, i was mailing them frequently.

On last friday again they replied once again stating as below;

Unfortunately, your refund process is taking longer time than usual. We can offer you an option of “Travolook Wallet” against the refundable amount which can be used for any future booking through our website.

I said no for depositing in travolook wallet via mail.

After last friday i am emailing them and i an trying to contact customer care, after waiting for 3 min and when i am getting my turn the call is automatically being disconnected this happened more than four tyms from past 2 days. This is being continuously repeated.

I pray you to take necessary action against the firm and refund my amount along with bank interest as it is clear negligence on part of Travolook.
