[Resolved]  Tripgateway.in — Unethical Behavior - Tall verbal promises while mails indicate something else

Got a call from [protected]/[protected]/[protected] about offers on 3 - 5 star hotel bookings which I clearly was not interested. But the smart and persuasive sales executive Mr. Krishna ( thats what he and a mail from him claimed ) was going on and till the validity caught my attention, as well as the tall claim of 5000+ hotels and resorts that I can book from.
As I was travelling to Rajasthan in December and anyway was at booking accodmodation in there, he said they got lot of hotels in the desired destination too. I asked him to share his inventory, which he asked me to pull from their website. And the inventory was not good enough, not sure though none fell in starred category which they claimed to provide bookings in. I told him the same, to which he said the inventory is updated regularly and more hotels keep getting added and hence is not exhaustive list. He asked me for names of hotels I wished to get booking into to check availability of dates, and said he will be able to provide confirmed booking for sure. Also went on to mention except Hyatt, Leela, Oberoi + 2 more, they can provide in Le Meridien, mumbai too which was in my wish list too.
Though he spoke most about the free gifts, and i was pretty unsure of the gifts coming but thought at least let the bookings happen. I asked him one last time, if I pay up now, will I get the Hotel confirmation voucher today itself, he confirmed and said for sure that can happen. I asked him a mail on that, he denied and quoting stories blah blah ...
So, gave in and shelled out 8999/-.
Next day, I get a confirmation mail from them, which clearly mentions that they can provide bookings only in their listed inventory. And this executive insists on me to achknowledge the same mail with "I accept / acknowledge". I replied mentioning that if I get booking in my wished hotels only then I accept. He says as per procedure, I dont have to write ramayan/bhaagvath in the ack mail and that I can write a separate mail with ramayan story( basically the conditions which he promised a day earlier )
And during the discussion we were having, there was another revelation that the confirmation voucher of hotel booking can be provided 72 hours before checkin time, that was another shock. Just previous day before I pay up, this was very same guy who said immediate confirmation etc etc. When I started talking a little sternly and asking for refund, he said you dont have to show this much attitude, you will have to follow procedure to get what u want.
They have sent a soft copy of a form, which I need fill up, scan n mail them for the booking procedure. I am now pretty sure, they will not be able to provide me the booking in hotels of my wish list, when they are so adamant about me acknowleding to their terms mentioned in black and white which are not aligned with what they had promised me verbally.

My humble request to Tripgateway to refund my money back for not making false promises, and insisting me on acknowledging to their terms ( which is other than promised verbally ).

Received a mail from Tripgateway informing me of refund in process due to their internal issues. Also received a call from their customer care, am asked to resolve the complaint without which they cannot process the refund. Fair enough. Where does that leave me if, they do not refund after I have resolved the complaint ? The executive said I can complain again. Fine, hoping I dont have to complain again, am resolving the one I have made. Now I just have to wait and act - either thank them or complain again. No offence, Tripgateway Team, you be fair, I will be fair. Heres the mail from them - Thanks for being a part of Trip Gateway, You paid amount for Holiday Package worth of 8999/-Rs through online transaction, regarding same this mail is related. You made transaction to us for Holiday in that we offered you 4 night / 5 days with 4 members and it’s valid for complete 1 year. This holiday is applicable for complete Pan India or Thailand, Malaysia. This is to inform you that due to company internal issue your amount is going to refund your amount. Regarding this return process let we inform you by which mode you made that transaction like on same you will get that same (Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking e.t.c.). As soon as possible you will see the reflection of your amount back to your Bank Account Statement. Kindly wait until you will see your amount is gone back to you kitty. Got a call from the Sales Executive so-called Krishna, as I was busy had my sister take the call. And Mr. Krishna spoke very rudely with my sister and was not addressing the concern raised at all, and insisted he can talk to only me. After that no call from you folks. What kind of a Tour package company is this ? I do not wish to go further with any bookings with you, for the sole reason that Your promises changed entirely after I have made the payment. Mr. Krishna said, the Breakfast and Dinner, and spa etc charges also ( which I clearly doubted) included in the price, but the mail confirmation says no meals included.
One should promise what one can deliver.

Received a Mail from Tripgateway today that they will process the refund due to their internal issues. Obviously now am asked to first resolve the complaint only then they will refund. Not finding the link for updating the status of a complaint here...

The issue is not resolved yet, but Tripgateway Team had asked me to modify the status otherwise they will not refund my money.
And now they are not receiving any calls, nor replying correctly. In their own email "Further those if you have any query or doubt you feel free to contact with us on our contact details[protected], [protected]@tripgateway.in."

Upon asking the status of my refund after waiting for more than 15 days, see how they have responded. It seems the amount shown at their side and I need to check on my side without letting me know the transaction ID. I have asking them to reply with the transaction ID, no reply by email, and they are not receiving any calls too.
Which company on earth answers so unprofessionally ?

This company needs to be rated worse actually. What is the way to reopen a complaint ?

Same experience, we should post in Whatapp and Facebook and Tweeter and show them the way they cheat us, and if they call somebody then they should get the response as are you calling from a fraud and Cheater company trip gateway .
