Yesterday I Booked an Uber Cab From Chotpur Noida To Old Delhi Railway Station Fare Of 610/-. But On The Way Driver Hit The Road Divider & Tyre Has Puncture To Change The Tyre Driver Taken Approx 30-40 Min, After Ride Complete This Duration Was Added In My Fare But It's Was Driver Fault & He Is Also Not Able To Drive Properly Extra Fare Taken 255/-

In 10 October i have taken a ride from my house to the hospital the fair was Rs. 190 .
when we reach the hospital i have paid the driver 1900 in place of Rs190 adding extra (0) by mistake as it was an emergency and i need to reach the hospital immediately.
on releasing that later i contacted the Uber company requesting for help to refund back the extra amount but they refused to to do so then i requested them to provide me with phone number of their driver but they refuse to do that also
then i have requested them to call the driver them selves and to ask him to refund my extra money but they refuse to do that also

    Payment taken twice by driver

    Dear Uber Support Team,

    I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I recently encountered during a ride with Uber, where I was inadvertently charged twice for the same fare. I believe there was a technical glitch or error in the system, as I did not intend to make a double payment.

    Today, morning I booked an Uber moto, Maruti Suzuku dezire from sector 90 Gurugram to National Media Center Gurugram. The distance between both the locations is approximately 24 Km. The price at the time of booking ride was shown to me Rs. 291 but at the moment my ride was comppleted the price suddenly got doubled and the driver demanded Rs. 492 from me. The driver also took the route where we had to cross MCD toll, however the route choosen by him was way too long and time consuming. Since I am also not very often on that route I did'nt had alot idea but this was the first time I had to cross the MCD toll while travelling on that route. I raised concern about such rising price but I was told that the price is controlled by the concerned company and not by him. The price was too high for the distance. I need to understand the calculation behind it. Also, this is not thr first time I had suffer the surge price problem, I need an immediate action on my complaint.

      I booked Uber on 18.10.2023 at around 8 pm to 8.10 pm from my regular location but Uber driver refused by said he was at location and I was the same location for 30 minutes at night.

        Not getting refund due to auto promotion fraud in uber

        I booked a uber moto trip through uber app from dilshad garden, delhi to noida sec 62 dated 7-aug-2023, before the trip the fare shown was about rs 95 after automatically applied promotion, also i have not applied the promotion manually it was automatically applied on uber app. But after the trip the fare charged was rs 124. When i contacted customer care, they said they cannot adjust the fare. What kind of joke is this? Can you see there...

        I Registered for uber driver app then later on I found out that these people are taking alot of time, after a while I called care then they told me you have another account that's why they are taking time I told them I don't have any other account, then after almost 10 days I again called uber care they told me to bring police verification from laitmukhrah shillong my home address because I have a police case on my name which was a false verification but still that got me scared and I called my people at home to verify it they found out that case number these guys mentioned was on some other person name it was Ajoy Roy and my name is Ajay kumar Roy how can a verification be this dumb also my vehicle name is pulsar n160 they have verified it as pulsar ns160 both bikes are way different I would like to file a case against uber India they are framing people into false verification and wasting their money and time also plays mentally.

          I booked a bike ride through Uber showing bill of 129 rs but the driver ask me to give 150 . When i refused to give extra money he use bad words and cancel my trip. I was charged 15 rs as cancelation fee.

            I travelled from 9th street nanganallur to hindu mission hospital in tambaram via uber on 30th september 2023 at 10.15 AM. I chose digital payment option and driver accepted my request. While dropping at my destination, he started creating a scene before everyone. He denied digital payment and wanted me to pay cash. We are in rush to meet a doctor. At the same time, he said he will put like he recevied cash in his uber app for the trip. So while believing him, we paid the cash. But he didnt update the payment details even after 4 hours. He cheated us. Now the uber app is denying the cash payment received and continuously showing me to pay the impending amount via digital payment method. I couldnt book another trip due to this issue. I have raised complaint message four times since then. But uber is yet to resolve it. Please solve this issue.

              We understand your frustration. It looks like you were shown an upfront fare of INR 389.90 before you confirmed this ride and it holds as long as destination remains unchanged and the GPS suggested route is followed.

              On reviewing your trip, I found that the drop-off location wasn’t the same as the one initially entered.

              Hence, based on the actual pickup and drop off...

              We where travelling through uber ride and we had met with a deadly accident and none of the single person Uber team had reached for our concern or what we had faced in accident did we had injuries and all such a pathetic service in such emergency case. Check the images how deadly it was. This was a serious concern where in uber team should had reached very actively to customers to understand the situations on that time. Right now i received the calls from team shared all the information's about accidents and the injuries and pain we went even we had to take leave from our work which was our loss of pay. And for the purpose of medication & treatments we had went through the clinics and not with the big hospitalization facilities we were not in such condition to make our family understand that we had met with accidents and share this type of images with them. Even you can go through the images and understand how dangerous accident it was. And still the issue is not resolved and they are closing the thread mails.

                Every time I book a ride with Uber, on reaching the destination the fare of the trip got increased automatically and we have no option rather than to pay it. On complaining, very few times they give us refund that also in the form o[censored]ber cash only. On doing the breakup of the fare charge they add a surge charge of around 30%-40% of the fare we have accepted the trip for.
                Recently on 31 AUG 2023 I have booked the trip for Rs.634 but on reaching it shows 935 to the driver. So I have no option but to pay it. I would like to complaint about the same and provide me the Compensation amount of all my ride by Uber as soon as possible.
                The reason why I am doing this complaint a week later because I have also raised complain several times through their app but nothing happens at all.

                  Complaint: when booked amount shown for payment Rs537, but when reached destination driver asked to pay Rs746 also the same shown in Uber App the amount to pay changed from 537 to 746 suddenly .
                  (Driver told it is because maybe earlier I have canceled any trip it's cancellation charge, but I have booked for the first time in this app)
                  Why this happened justify with reason.

                    This is here by informed that on 7th Aug 2023 I booked Uber Bike to transit from dilshad garden to cdac, noida sec 62 branch through uber app on which the amount to be paid was shown as Rs 99 after 22% off promotion was automatically applied I don't need to apply the promotion manually. Original amount shown was Rs 124 on which this promotion was automatically applied. But after the trip original amount was charged. After reaching the destination I checked the amount from destination to source again the same 22% off promotion was auto applied and the amount shown was near to Rs 99 (Please refer attachment as a proof). Then I raise this issue to uber customer care. They didn't refund my balance amount that was Rs 25. Also, their customer support tried to ignore my issue by saying we have escalated the issue to our expert team and will reply in 24 hrs, then 48 hrs, then 3 business days and so on. Today from 7 Aug 2023 I have received reply from their end that there was no promotion applied and no refund is applicable for this trip. As I have already shared I don't need to apply promotion as the promotion was auto applied. Please refer attachment in which it is shown that the attachment was auto applied on the uber bike for the same trip. They are making excuses for around 2 weeks as they trying to avoid and fool the customer. Even if I have the proof they are not refunding my money. Do refund the balance amount that is Rs 25 ASAP.

                    It's their fault that they have shown the amount after auto promotion for uber bike in uber app before the trip then charge the original amount after the trip. They used auto promotion just to cheat their customers and loot money from them. They are making excuses and sometimes don't reply in order to hide their mistakes as they are not in a habit of returning money of any customer. They don't even verify the trip from their systems. Return the balance amount of Rs 25 asap.

                      I recently availed the connect service from my place to Cmda colony chennai
                      The required payment was 48.58rs by G pay method. But accidentally I paid the driver cash when he picked the package up. So I didn't pay the amount from UPI
                      But the app is refusing me to book other trips as it recognizes that I haven't paid the payment yet.
                      Please rectify this issue as soon as possible

                        Hi Team,

                        On 19th July I had taken a trip from Ahemdabad Airport to Renaissance Hotel and for this I cannot see receipt in Trip history. However, my transaction shows that money deducted also I can see the trip completion (which I have taken screen shot). I tried multiple ways to connect with customer care but their is no way to connect with them.

                        It is their technical glitch but I cannot see any way to connect with them. Please me to how to connect with them or they connect with me.

                          I had their package that ended on the 6th of July (no particular time was mentioned for the 6th of July). As I left with one ride booked but they charged money for that ride.

                          I asked customer care regarding the same they said that It was already ended at 7: 30 morning although this is a very basic understanding that the 6th of July is valid till 11:59 PM the night.

                          They made their customers confused before booking a package.

                          I am requesting you to look into the matter.

                            My friend was travelling through uber cab the driver named “Monu”, “His mobile number is +[protected]” accepted the request his car was “Alto 800”, “licence no:PB 01 D 3344”
                            After some distance he ask to change drop location as he said there is water on the road and he would not go further, he abused her and she changed her drop location to near the pick up location after that the price for prior ride was ₹375 and after changing location the price raised to ₹420, he ask her to pay online she scanned his provided scanner she paid him money and he said that he didn’t receive any money she said it’s deducted from my side and he convinced her that money will be refunded cause its banking fault so she pay him cash afet some hours she checked that the money which was deducted didn’t refunded and she call him ask for the money and that time he said i got your money and he will send it back to her, its been over 4 days now he blocked and making unnecessary excuses please help to get back her money which the uber driver scammed from her.

                              Hi. I took a ride from Ghaziabad to Meerut on 8th December, 2022. Even though I paid Rs 946 to the driver, the app is still showing the trip as unpaid. He did not register any complaint to me. Infact I gave him 5 star rating which I subsequently downgraded to 2 star when I came to know that he has reported non payment.

                              I am being asked to pay an amount already paid to the driver. The driver reports that amount has not been paid, and his version is taken on record. During 2022, this customer has used the services for Rs 15000 approx and all payments were paid in cash to the drivers. I fail to understand how reporting non payment by driver should have precedence over my assertion of paying the due.

                              The matter was raised on Twitter handle o[censored]ber India Support but of no avail.

                              Can anything be done from your end to settle the issue and allow me to use the services again.

                                I have pending outstanding payment reflecting in the app. The gpay receipt was produced and checked payment was confirmed. Yet the customer care can't remove outstanding payment, kept repeating all the processes again and again. The team lacks technical knowledge clearly. From more than 1.5 mnths they are still investigating and when I asked update told me same steps again 🤣🤣🤣
