I am writing to you to raise an issue about Cab payment Refund.
It occurred on: 3/05/2022 (May, 2022)
The issue that I have experienced was:

I'm writing this to inform you that last year on 2nd July, 2021 I had a ride. I chose an online payment option but could not pay due to an internet issue. I paid in cash. It is very much understandable that the driver would never leave me without payment.
Thereafter I didn't use Uber. On 04 May, 2022, I booked a ride and chose the Amazon pay option with a coupon for Rs. 75.
I found that instead of confirming my booked ride, Rs. 270.90 debited from my amazon pay and coupon of Rs. 75.00 was also taken. Please check the payment receipts available in the Uber app.
I could not understand why that amount has been taken as I booked a ride from the Amazon app not directly from the Uber app.
Finally, I understand from the trip details that 90 days older online payment has been adjusted from my amazon pay without my consent or knowledge.
I have already paid that amount in cash to the driver otherwise driver would not leave me without payment.
But anyhow that payment was still pending in the Uber app, not deleted from the app from your end after driver confirmation also.
My question is how can you take double charges for a single ride. Uber authority is very much aware that the driver received the payment.
From the Uber app, the customer support team is saying that they are unable to adjust it as it is 90 days older trip but money taken after 90 days to adjust is false due to cheating the customer. It is a very wrong, dishonest and unethical business policy.
I request you to look into the matter and refund the payment of Rs. 270.92 + Rs. 75.00 = Rs. 345. 92 immediately.
Hope I'll get relief and a prompt reply.
Above all, there is no contact number for customer support which is a very pathetic system.
I request you kindly refund my payment of Rs. 345.90 which has been taken twice for a single ride on 02 May, 2022.
I paid the amount in cash to the Driver on 02 July, 2021 when Online payment from my SBI credit card was declined due to an internet issue. The driver agreed to take the cash amount. I paid in cash. So why again from amazon pay the same amount that has been debited without my consent.
I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.
