The deduction of an amount of 884 rupees was done by Uber India on the 8th of January 2022, for a trip that happened on 30th August 2021. When I made sure to inform via their application with my e-statement instead of confirming anything, I got an email from them saying this is months old and that is why this grievance cannot be looked into.
As they don’t have any proper means to be contacted, I had to used Facebook and message them. They said they would reply and gave me a reply saying the issue will be resolved on the app. I tried explaining the situation but yet there was nothing but automated messages.
At the moment, they still haven’t confirmed with the driver but have closed the complaint chat without any valid solution or reply.
