Uber which was introduced in Kolkata few years back as premium Taxi Service has presently turned up into a most poorly administered service provider.
Today also, as happened many times in past as well, the driver called and asked question about my destination/ my mode of payment and after getting aware of the destination/ mode of payment cancelled the Trip. I fail to understand when I already informed Uber about my destination/ mode of payment, why the driver be allowed to raise such question to me and then after getting aware, he be allowed to cancel the trip. Either the driver should not be allowed to question the passenger such question or if he be so allowed to raise such question, he should be debarred from cancelling the trip after getting aware of such information.
I had to wait for almost 15 minutes for the vehicle because of two cancellations by driver, initially the waiting period was just 4 minutes.
I suffered loss of time, loss of peace and a lot.
Why should not be compensated by Uber for such subjective loss. Was this information helpful? |
