Uber India — refund of cancellation charges charged

I had booked a uber cab on 08.09.2017 at around 19.00 hrs for travel from malleswaram 13th cross, 8th main to palace cross road-guttahalli. Availability of cab in 4 mts was confirmed - cab # 9855. Cab did not come for 15 mts and there was no response to our telephone calls. Nor would the driver contact us. Finally we had to take an autorickshaw. When i booked a uber cab yesterday at 13.00 hrs i was charged rs, 52 /- towards cancellation charges on trip from malleswaram to indiranagr in addition to the regular fare of rs.220/- this is not acceptable since i had not cancelled my booking and this should be refunded.

Updated by Anand Sirur Please refer to my complaint dated 10th Sept and reminder dt 21st Sept on the above subject. I have not received your reply to them nor have I received the refund. It is obvious you have no intentions of attending to genuine problems of your customers.
Probably this complaint when published in the social media of facebook/twitter, you may respond.
