I booked an Uber today i.e Sunday(10.09.2017) from Egipura to Bangalore fort around 1:30pm. Inspite of waiting at the pickup location for 15mins, no car came. When I called the driver he told that he was waiting at the said pickup point.But no car was waiting there. Then all of a sudden I received a cancellation text and found that I was charged an additional 52.50 rupees. After this when I called the driver regarding this he said the he had waited at the pickup point for 10mins.During this conversation he mostly used slangs and talked in a very unprofessional manner. I have been a loyal customer at Uber and don't expect this kind of behaviour from a driver.
The car I booked was a Ford Fiesta. The driver's name was Majeed and the contact number is 91-[protected].
I am asking for a refund of this cancellation fees in my account. I have been using Uber since a long time, but never faced this kind of behaviour from a driver. If it was my fault then I would not have written this complaint letter. I am really shocked by this. So i am requesting a refund.
