I m writing this to inform you that last year on 2nd July, 2021 I had a ride. I choose online payment option but could not pay due to internet issue. I paid cash. It is very much understandable that driver would never leave me without payment.
Thereafter I didn't use Uber. On 04 May, 2022, I booked for a ride and choose Amazon pay option with coupon of Rs. 75.
I found that instead of confirming my booked right, apartment of Rs. 270.90 debited from my amazon pay and coupon of Rs. 75.00 was also taken.
I could not understand why that amount has been taken as I booked ride from Amazon app not directly from Uber app.
Finally I understand from the trip details that 90 days older online payment has been adjusted from my amazon pay without my consent or knowledge whatever may be.
I have already paid that amount in cash to the driver otherwise driver would not leave me without payment.
But anyhow that payment was still pending in the Uber app, not deleted from the app from your end after driver confirmation also.
My question is how can U er take double charges for a single ride. Uber authority is very much aware that driver received the payment.
From Uber app the customer support team is saying that they are unable to adjust as iit is 90 days older trip but
they can take money after 90 days to cheat the customer. It is a very wrong, dishonest and unethical business policy.
I request you to look into the matter and refund pay payment Rs. 270.90 + Rs. 75.00 = Rs. 350. 90 immediately.
Hope I'll get relief and prompt reply. Above all there is no contact number for the customer support which is very pathetic system.
