On April the 3rd, 2022, at around 9pm we booked a short ride from Ramachndrapura, Bloonfeild Gardens in Bangalore to RK Gardens, New Bel Road Bangalore. the initial wait said 20 minutes, we waited with a diabetic brother in law, calling the driver after a 15 minute interval after his arrival time increased further. no response. after a 30 minute wait and multiple phone calls went unanswered, we decide to walk home at 9.40 pm, there being no the vehicle at that time of the night. the driver we got was Mohammed, Tata Indica, car no KA01AC8563, PIN number for this trip was 1448. we arrived home on our own and 2 hours later he has neither responded to us or cancelled the trip. this is the fourth time such an incident has occurred with Uber drivers where they do not arrive and do not cancel, forcing the client to do so and pay the cancellation fee. On principle, we decided not to. as of 11.30pm the driver has still not cancelled the trip and still will not answer. Uber needs to provide a solution by allowing customers to complain unreal time, not after the trip is complete, especially in cases of misbehaviour or unscrupulous acts such as these.
