I bought Prepaid MTS dongle from Univercell (Ramapuram, Chennai). which they have advertised INR 1750 and offered me finally for INR 1550. Next day, I saw the same device with same prepaid plan for INR 1299 from other shop in my area. When i approached univercell, they said, it is our price. The only mistake, i did is without checking with other shops, i straight away went to Univercell assuming, it is reputed shop and will offer competitive price. I have decided that, in future, i will not go to them.

    Sir, I have purchased a cell phone (note 3) on February 2014 for Rs.46000 from univercell store phoenix market city pune. I was supposed to get 1500 cash back within 3 months. But its been almost a year now. I have been continousl following up with them from last 7 months and they reverting back. And now they are being rude and saying me to do whatever i want to do. Being patient i have waited so long now i want some strict action against univercell pune.

      i have bought one samsung mobilebefore 5 months, so they didnt give head set till now and postponing everytime telling no stock and those staff r very irresponsible and talking rashly and giving there complaint id and telling if you want u post an complaint on us like tht, plzzzzz stop visiting univercell showroom in velachery.

      I also bought the samsung E7 mobile on Feb2015 at East Tambaram, chennai. I provide a PAYTM offer and it’s not working. I went to shop and ask means they are saying it’s not our responsibility go to PAYTM and fight with them and get the offer.

      This is the way to treat the customer?

      You have relationship with PAYTM, if you can’t get touch with them and resolve the customer issues ?

      Please don’t go to Univercell at East Tambaram.

      Suppose any mobile issues means they will ask you to go to mobile manufacture and fight them.

        since one month i am waiting for my new phone.I bought new phone on 31-nov-2-14 and that phone get heated up and i got DOA certificate from service center and i give it from the univercell muvattupuzha and they didnt give me the replaced phone now its 3 week after my submition of DOA certificate.i am not able to use this phone till one month so i want the money back they are not will for that my bill no.0536340 kindly solve it as soon as possible regards cibin jacob

          Hi all This is narendra reddy anumula.I purchased tataphoton from univercell with invoice no:P.OMR/3262 just one week before when i purchased they said with in 72 hours it will activate but after one week also they didnt submit my documents.i called to the customer care of tataphoton and photon customercare said we didnt receive your documents.Thats it. I suggest you all never and ever purchase any item from univercell

            Hi I got Sony xperia M2 dual from Univercell, Thoraipakkam, Chennai. Worst shop half the shop empty woth no models for mobiles. Within two days i got the mobile it crashed and so gave to them for service with videos taken. They gave gave to sony service center and came back after a week of calling them daily and reminding. They said that there virus in it i asked how it came they said it would have come from laptop or from watsapp. The same day they gave itself it crashed again while saving a contact again gave them and told i need replacement. Do not know whether they gave for service or they themself building some story, They told they should check with sony service center and get a letter for replacement. Then he told he wil get the mobile box from me and then again should go to sony service center and then get a letter and then replace the device. But still now they did not come also not picking up my calls, i complained to shop manager Vinoth also. He told he will check and say but no response. Guys please do not buy anthing from this shop. Thanks

              During deepavali festival time i have purchased above set at manjakuppam. But unfortunately left without servicing the gift by the manager and cashier in that centre. When contacted the cashier he carelessly told me to lodge a complaint. He is negligent after contacting number times over phone and in person. If the customer are left out like this who will take care at univercell. Kindly guide me.

                I have bought a Micromax Canvas Colors A120 mobile from Univercell in May 2014. Recently I had some problems with the mobile(Camera blur & touch not working properly) & I had given the mobile to Univercell for Service on Sept 20, 2014. When receiving the phone for service, they said it will take 15 days & I said I am fine with it. Now its been more than 1.5 months & I have not received my mobile yet. There is no proper response from the showroom & they say that the mobile is with Mircomax service centre and they are not sure as when they will return the mobile.                     I Bought Xolo Mobile from universal in srinivasa Nagar near Vidyapeeta Circle Bangalore june 14 touch pad is not working after 4months i went & Gave for service in same store They had received the set but after 4 days i called & asked they are telling we are not able to give it for service it will take more than 20 days if you want you can go & give it to service center the branch manager Shankar dont know how to behave with the customer his way of talking is careless i[censored]niversall have to sustain in the market kindly Teach this people how to behave with the customers I am really disappointed with the way the store manager behaved Even i am also working as a store manager in a Retail I will never go to universal again & i will forward the same to my colleges & Friends ( at the time of sale they Will show intrest but not for customer problems )

                      Hi, I'm Arun Kailash. I bought a Samsung S5 (g 900) on August 2nd 2014 at Anna Nagar Blue Star showroom, Chennai. Invoice number: P.ANG/4612. Univercell had promised to give me a complimentary gift of Black S-View cover for my mobile in a maximum time of 10 working days. But they did are yet to give it to me even after 2 Months. I've made innumerable visits to the Anna nagar blue star store to check the status as their phone number([protected]) is always busy and unreachable. I've made more than 5 visits to the store in the past 50 days given that I'm in chennai only during weekends.. I've wasted a lot of time visiting your store instead of attending to my personal work. Last week after so many visits and calls to customer care they offered me a White S-View cover. But I need only the promised black one as my phone is black. From the beginning I've insisted on getting only Black S-View cover to the store people. Last week, When I contacted Customer relationship officer, Manju, she very casually told me that the S-View cover is not available in Tamil Nadu. I just wonder how can you promise something at the first place when you can't fulfil your promise even after 2 months? What is the point in claiming that you are the leading Mobile Retailer in India when you can't even procure a basic accessory of a flagship model of a leading brand even after 2 months? So I want to raise a complaint on this as I did not get the service promised. Either I need the black s-view cover or kindly refund the cost of s-view cover which is Rs.3500. I don't actually consider it complimentary as there were other stores selling same mobile at 38000 at that time while I paid 41500 at your store for the same. I paid the extra 3500 for the cover.                       It's been 5 days since you said that you escalated the issue to concerned team & that I will soon be contacted by your representative. But I have received no call, no mail or any intimation. Are you sure you escalated the issue?

                      I've been through all these in the past 2 months. How many more escalations would you make? Or at least how many times you would claim doing so?

                      I need the promised S-View cover and not some escalation, call, mail etc. Give me the Rs.3500 as I no longer trust your fake promises.

                      Hi. I finally got my s-view cover yesterday. Though I feel it should not have been delayed so long and the unnecessary visits, calls and mails could have been avoided, I am happy that I got it atleast now. Special thanks to customer relationship officer Ms.Manju and Blue star store manager Mr.Gandhi for áarranging things for me.

Now its being almost 40 DAYS, they are still saying it wil take more time to repair. I Complaint in Head Office Chennai also, they also didnt show any interest.                           Bought iphone 5 in UNIVERCELL in chennai, tamilnadu on 21/11/2012 with mobile theft insurance recommended by the univercell. my phone was stolen in coimbatore on 20/2/2013 and i filed a complaint on 21/2/2013. The police authorities gave me a CSR for the complaint and i requested for the insurance with the CSR, sim replacement bill and my mobile bill to ALEGION INSURANCE BROKING and they forwarded it to oriental insurance but i was denied due to lack of FIR. so i asked the FIR and the police refused to give FIR what so ever. Due to this tug of war i approached UNIVERCELL where i had bought my phone, they gave irresponsible answers and shoved me off telling it was not their responsibility. I have been through lot of mental pressure and humiliation and really frustrated that i am filing a complaint.

                              My father in law ( Shri K. V. Subramanian )an 81 year old man visited your shop at Alwarthirunagar, Chennai and purchased a Reliance Connection Broad band on[protected]. He visited your shop and made payment on the spot and concerned sales man named Prabha said that it will take 3 for 4 days to get connectivity. and till date nothing has happened. I visited your shop yesterday and found that there was not one sales boy who could give me properly and were unwilling to give the number of their senior. When they connected me to their manager he was unwilling to talk to me. Please tell me what should I do. Should I file a Court Case for this or seek compensation. Can I expect a reply from your office regarding the status. This is the second time I have such a problem with your shop. I am a resident of Alwarthirunagar. ramakrishnan

                                I am writing this complaint with utmost pain and agony to bring to your attention the extent of physical and mental torture I had to go through to get my phone repaired. Summary My Nokia Lumia 720 was purchased from UniverCell Brookefields, Coimbatore showroom on June, 2013 with a 1yr accidental warranty. Less than 1 yr later on June 11th, 2014 my phone screen broke at an accident. When I approached the same UniverCell Brookefields, Coimbatore showroom, they told me that my phone display wouldn't be covered under accidental warranty. I was fine with that and agreed to have it repaired for Rs. 6000, on the condition to receive it within 3 days. 3 days passed and they gave it to me after 1 week. I pay the promised Rs. 6000 but I did not take any receipt after getting my phone. After reaching home is when I realized that few letters and the earphone are not working. Agonizingly, I went back to the showroom and told my complaint and they promised to give me within 3 days, again. Since it was the same store manager from whom I had collected it the first time, I had agreed upon his word and did not get any receipt after handing my phone over. After a week on June 28th when I receive my phone, then and there I had checked and noticed that the letter keys were still not working. I had handed it over back and I was again promised to receive it in next 4 hrs at a different showroom at UniverCell, 100ft road. I return after 4hrs to the showroom and I was made to wait there for 2 hrs and they eventually give me. But, this time, they ask for the receipt of payment. I told them that the Rs. 6000 was already been paid a week upon the receipt of the phone the first time. They do not take my word and ask me to return to the Brookefields showroom and to collect it from there. The Brookefields showroom asks me the details of the showroom manager who was present the day I had received my phone the first time. How will I even remember the appearance of a random guy? They then agree to have it confirmed and couriered to my address. 1 week goes by and I kept calling them, but no sign of my mobile. I kept going to the showroom and eventually get it the 4th time around. This time, my phone is not getting switched ON. I give it back and they promise to repair and give it back. But my bad, I kept my SIM and SD Memory Card in the mobile itself. I call them and they promise to keep my SIM Card and SD Memory Card safe, making sure it does not get misused. I trust their word this time also. They had promised to give me my phone in a couple of days and, luckily, I get it this time in 1 week. I checked everything including the SIM Card, but missed to check if the Memory Card was present. Upon the realization, I call them up and inform this, and they agree to give it to me the next day itself. I reach the showroom after a couple of days and they are now not aware of any such memory card. Still waiting to hear back from them about my SD Memory Card... Is this any way to treat your customer? I had been utmost patient, tolerant and polite to them. The 3 main people who have made me run like crazy are: 1. Prabhu (Currently the Manager for UniverCell, Saibaba Colony NSR Showroom) 2. Ganesh (Currently the Manager for UniverCell, Brookefields Showroom) 3. <Name Unknown> Currently the Manager for UniverCell, 100ft Road Showroom Hoping to see some positives from your end.                                 Today is 18th Feb, 2015 and I am still facing the same dire situation. I am not in a position to approach the court of law, or else I would have done this. Aarghh...Utmost gruesome experience... :(

                                    I have insurance for my mobile set with oriental. It has Purchased through the univercell showroom. I claimed for the lost of my mobile & whatever document they asked i submitted 2 month back in chennai office but till now no response from there side. Please help me out from this problem, in order to get my claim amount. Thank you sumit [protected]

                                      I bought a dongle from porur branch o[censored]nivercell 4 days ago. I have submitted the documents also. They told it will be activated the same day evening. Its been 3 day and its still not activated. I am going to the showroom everyday, they are giving vague answers and the manager is extremely rude to me. He was like a goon trying to bully customers. When i said that i will lodge a complaint, i was told to go ahead and do it as nothing can bring him down. Univercell sucks. Will never buy anything from you.

                                        Dear Sir, I bought 4 new mobile phone from ABI Communications - Franchisee Univercell Telecommunications India Pvt. Ltd., - Kailashnagar- Trichy-620019. When we call his mobile &amp; lane-line number, they never responded properly. I went to showroom &amp; I called from outside, lane line was ringing &amp; they never lift the phone. Immediately I entered &amp; I asked why you are not lifting your lane line &amp; they are saying busy. However there was no customers inside. The behaviour of shop subordinate guy is very bad &amp; way of talking also very poor. Customer satisfaction is very bad in this branch now. For your further processing & necessary action.
