The Vashi Toll plaza of Mumbai connecting Mumbai & Navi Mumbai is getting delayed and the traffic is only because of this toll. The fasttag readers are very adultered which takes lot hell of time to scan the tags, ultimately leading to heavy traffic on both sides of the toll. Even after months after making fasttag mandatory, the said plaza is still allowing vehicles with same charges (no 2x charge as defined). It implies that the toll also wants to support physical cash and discourage scan payments which has cut their pockets to adrastic extent. This delay is indirecly increasing the pollution levels in the city.
