Hi team,
This is highly unethical that travels is trying to cheat us through your service. I wish this matter to be escalated to highest level possible since would need my money back for a service not rendered.
• it is a fact that the 4:00pm bus of atlas travels scheduled to run from pathanamthitta to bangalore on 12th june was cancelled and we were called by staffs from the travels around 12pm on same day to board the bus at 3pm from adoor which is 20kms away.
• out of the 3 seats we booked, only one gentlemen could travel and two ladies could not make it due to this last minute change in timing and location.
• we informed the travels right away to cancel two tickets since we want refund for the two passengers who could not make it.
• travels informed us not to cancel the ticket online since the pnr if cancelled then all 3 tickers would get invalidated and even the gentleman won’t be able to travel.
• we were first asked to contact their main office in thodupuzha to discuss refund and was later informed to raise a request with via.com through whom the tickets were booked. Contact number of atlas travels to whom we spoke to was [protected].
• really not sure why travels is now claiming that the 4pm bus from pathanamthitta had ran on schedule that day. Am sure via will have means to find out that its not true since there was no regular message send to passengers with bus number, driver’s contact number etc which usually comes during a regular schedule.
• also there could be other passengers in the same schedule who would have booked their tickets through via.com and was informed to board a different bus early.
• a strange message came from vm-yurbus at 5pm (One hour after the scheduled start time) that there is no gps facility in the bus and hence passengers should reach destination on time. This message did not make any sense and was send much later than the starting time.
We are regular users of via.com. Don’t want to lose our money just because travels is lying at the face that they ran a bus on schedule which they in fact cancelled. Please do the needful to refund the money and send a strong feedback note to travels since they should not make it a habit to cheat passengers like this.
I would like to go with higher level of escalations on this concern as this is the first experience i received from your organization and this flaw in business should be informed to your founders.
