On june, 30, 2018 i had booked jet airways (Via.com reference number. Fmnaa2qoyiqsh) for a journey from trivnadrum to new delhi (Ticket number.[protected]. Air line pnr. Khkp6a
Jet airways 9w-152 trivandrum - bangalore november, 25th 2018.
Jet airways 9w - 820 bangalore – new delhi november, 25th 2018.
On 25th october, 2018 i had received an sms message from the jet airways stating that due to operational reasons, the flight 9w-152 trivandrum to bangalore is cancelled and instructing to contact the travel portal to process the refund for that particular flight.
The jet airways had not shown a basic courtesy either to reroute the journey or to refund the fare through the via.com travel portal.
On my email request to [protected]@ via.com, for the refund, i have received a reply stating that it is the responsibility of the airline to refund the amount as the money is being transferred to the airlines account.
I cannot understand the logic of the airline policy of partial cancellation while both the tickets (Trivandrum to bangalore and bangalore to new delhi) are booked by the via com web portal on jet airways of 9w 152 & 9w 820.
Since the flight is cancelled by the airline due to operational reasons, and as i had booked the ticket online, paid by credit card through only via.com portal, kindly request the concerned to process the refund to my credit card account.
