Dear Sir,

Trust you are well.

My complaint is against the service of the VOLTAS air-conditioning. I purchased a VOLTAS VERTIS - Gold on 27 April 2008, and it has been repaired twice since. In the process of repair and talking the AC out of my house, my home furnishings have also been damaged. The customer care service is so poor that I had to call the ‘Area Manager’ almost every day to respond. I asked the Area Manager for an extended guarantee and he visited my house and assured me that he will get the AC in a new condition and will extend my warrantee period; however this was of no use. I have stopped getting any response form the Area manager.

I think the customer care is absolutely useless and even the higher authority does not bother. According to me, this is one of the reasons that Indian companies don’t do well, as they have good products, but rubbish after sales service. We trusted the brand name tata, but I think this was really a TATA to any of there brands.

If any of the authorities understand my point, then I expect a response. I am very frustrated about having to chase up these guys and them not responding at all.

Voltas - Vertis Gold AC — wrong product delivered

We have recently bought an AC from GIRIAs Coimbatore. We have ordered a 1.5 ton Vertis Gold AC but they have delivered us Vertis Gold - i which we never intended to purchase. On our complaint they are just dragging the matter.

kindly help us to resolve the matter.

    I have brought a ac with Voltas, a 1.0 ton Vertis plus spilt a/c from Pradeep Engineering Works, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road, Bhagalpur – 812002; Bill No. 159; Purchases Dt:- 23/4/2008, Phone No[protected] / +91-[protected]. I have been facing problem since the day 1, the installation was done very bad and started giving problem and I have never seen such a bad customer support, as when ever make a complaint I get the person after a week time to rectify the same, however he same problem occur in months time.
    It is now almost 4 months to go for the unit & I am not getting better customer support, since the product is in warranty status.
    The problem that I am facing with the indoor unit is, there is continuous flow of water every month.

    I was booked 20/20 FSS water cooler at Sri. Aditya Refrigerations, Kakinada on 07.04.2009, but it is not received still even after nearly one month. The sales man says that there is no stock and company executive is not giving proper reply regarding supply of water coolers.
    Donation.

    I am Mrs.Hellen Koffi . I am married to late Dr.Koffi Edward the owner and CEO of Royal Oil Ltd and Royal Construction company.We were married for ten years without a child. He died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days. Before his death we were both born again Christian. Since his death I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the Bible is against. When my late husband was alive he deposited a huge amount of money in a bank for foreign investment. Presently this money is still in the bank.

    I am undergoing a medical treament, I have cancer and stroke, recently my doctor told me that I have only five months to live after medical surgery on my left breast. Having known my condition I decided to donate this money to a church/good persona or charity organisation that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct herein. I want a church or good person that will use this money to support the work of God, help the needy, help widows, help the less previledged, build churches, build orphanage homes and schools, help to propagating the word of God and to endeavor that the house of God is maintained.

    The Bible made us to understand that"Blessed is the hand that giveth". l took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and my late husband relatives are not Christians and I don't want my husband's money to be misused by unbelievers and I don't want a situation whereby this money will be used in an ungodly way. What pains me so much is that my late husband relatives seized the Oil and Construction company immediately my husband died and nothing was left for me only because I don't have any child.

    This is why I am taking this decision. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord.Exodus 14 VS 14 says that "the lord will fight my case and I shall hold my peace". I am here with my laptop computer and I don't need any telephone communication in this regard due to the presence of my late husband relatives around me. I don't want them to know about this deposit. With God all things are possible.

    As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the Bank to enable you contact them for the transfer of the money. I will also send to you the official documents concerning this deposit .I want you and the church to always pray for me because the lord is my shephard. My happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy Christian. Whoever that Wants to serve the Lord must serve him in spirit and Truth. Please always be prayerful all through your life, anydelay in your reply will give me room in sourcing for another church / good person or charity organisation for this same purpose. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I Stated herein.

      i have brought a ac with voltas, a 1.5 tonn vertis spilt a/c from vasanth and co, chennai, i have been facing problem since the day 1, the installation was done very bad and started giving problem and i have never seen such a bad customer support, as when ever make a complaint i get the person after a week time to rectify the same, however he same problem occur in months time. i will never sugest the same company to any one with my experience.

      i have brought a ac with voltas, a 1 tonn vertis spilt a/c from viveks, chennai, i have been facing problem since the month 1, and started giving problem and i have never seen such a bad customer support, as i given a complaint for one week before but still no body has come for service, i will never sugest the same company to any one with my experience.
      i fully agree with suyash juenja, voltas does not have a service team at all, i have purchased an elite 1.5 2 month bak, the technicion whom came for instalaton was local techi, like an ajham...
      i am also facing a problems from th day one, now my ac is compleately mallfunctioning. not to buy voltas, i would suggest panasonic is the NO :1 .

      Last year it worked fine. However since teh beginning of the season it is not cooling continuously. I called the technicians several times but they come, spend some time and go and the problem is persistant. This is the most inefficient technical support I have ever experienced. the technicians don't know either their job or they are deliberately not doing it well. In the process of calling them so many times I have also surpassed the warranty period. I have vowed that Iam going to claim compensation from Voltas. I will not let them go so easily. They have to either repair my AC properly without charging me anything or else they have to refund /replace the machine.

      AS MY FRIEND SAID ABOUT VOLTAS AC, I AM 100 PERCENT AGREE WITH ALL OF THEM AND FURTHER I WANT TO ADD MY PROBLEM ALSO HERE.
      I BOUGHT AN VOLTAS VERTIS PREMIUM 1 TON AC ON JUNE 3 rd 2009, AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION THE PERSON MADE TOO HURRY FOR INSTALLING THE AC. AND DID NOT INSTALL PROPER THE MACHINE AND HE WENT AWAY. THE PROBLEM OCCURRED WHEN THERE WAS TOO HEAVY RAIN AND MACHINE BECAME VIBRATE AND ITS PIPE BECOME LOOSE AND ALL GAS HAD LEAKED.
      WHEN I CONTACTED SERVICE CENTERE ( WHICH IS NOT THE PROPER VOLTAS SERVICE CENTER, VOLTAS HIGHER THE LOCAL SERVICE PEOPLE) THEY DID NOT RESPONSE AT ALL.

      AFTER THAT I HAVE BEEN CONTACT MANY TIME BUT THEY TALKED LIKE THIS AS I DIALLED WRONG NO. AND DID NOT COME ANY COST.

      THEN FINALLY I CONTECTED TO CUSTOMER CARE BUT AFTER CALLING CUST. CARE I REALISED THAT CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE IS SO MUCH PRESOORED AND HE ALWAYS TOLD ME THAT I HAVE FORWARD UR COMPLAIN AT SENIOR LEVEL...

      AND STILL NOW I AM SUFFRRING THE SUMMER OF DELHI.
      MANY PEOPLE SUGGESTED ME TO GO CUNSUMER COURT...BUT THE PROBLEM IS I HAVE NOT SUCH TIME TO GO CUNSUMER COURT.

      NOW I AM PLANNING TO SERVICE THIS CHEAP AC AT MY OWN EXPENSES.

      AND I WANT TO GIVE ADVICE NOT TO BUY VOLTAS AC.
      AGAR ZINDGI BHAR PARESHAN REHNA HAI TO U CAN...
      WE HAVE PURCHASED 15 NOS OF SPLIT ACs FOR OUR OFFICE. BUT THERE IS NO SERVICE AFTER SALE . VOLTAS AC COMPANY IS CHEATING PEOPLE. THEY HAVE NO PROPER SERVICE CENTER.       sir ibought a voltas verti plus window air conditioner on 7th April 2008 from M.J.Cop. rikhi ram building Batala distt, Gurdaspur[Punjab] with stabliser at the cost of Rs.20500/-after 5 to 7days my real brother bought the same at Rs.20000/- i asked the dealer to return Rs.500. But he refused to give money back.he charged instalation fee also without filling the machine instalation coupen.next year he provided me free service without filling the coupon.now he provided me 2nd service without filling the coupon and demanding Rs.150/-.his workers damaged the fan of A.C. Now i request you to comment.

        I bought Vertis Gold 5 months back and often giving problem incooling or it will shut down automatically. We checked our electrical connections and the other branded ACs in our house is functioning well. Many time we called the service people of voltas and the response is VERY VERY BAD. I would like to say that i bought voltas only for the brand value but now i felt that i should see the service. please donot go for voltas and it is very difficult to get the service people to rectify the fault. Painful matter is even if you send any mail to the service manager, GM, MD you wont get any reply and no usue of contacting the senier people to tell your problems. Hence please do not buy the worries from voltas.

          Dear Sir,
          I want to bring into your notice that i am surprise to see such a poor respose from voltas team. Please find the below details for your reference. I had purchased new AC 1.50T Vertis Gold Split Aircon on Dated : 13-April-08 for which i had paid INR 27, 800. but from the first day i am facing problem in the its not cooling for what i have purchased this. Eventhough i had paid INR 2000 for its Installation but team from Installer from NR Refrigeration (Mr. Naveen Gupta) was even not sound enough. I logged complaints so many time but they responded they their server is down sometimes and they are not able to logged my complaints due to problem in system as they are using old system according to them any way i called so many times. Now Finally I had logged a complaint on your provided number[protected] &[protected] that time i had received complaints # 211108 on Dated 21-May-2008 and one engineer has come to me on Dated : 24-May-2008 at my home for its rectification he had given remark Gas Short after seeing his remarks i was shoked as this is new branded equipment and its manfulctioning from the day one but anyway i could not take this seriously. someone came from your side to put the gas and it was working satisfactory but not perfectly. but after 2-3 days it was again not giving cooling and i again logged complaints on the provided service center number. they again responded by sending one stupit engineer who was giving remarks again Gas Short and responded me that tomarrow one more engineer will come to resolve the issue. Next day on Dated 25-May-2008 one qualified engineer came and reponded that gas is not short thier is some problem in Out Door PCB and taken PCB out with him for replacement. i was waiting for him to come with new PCB but he did not turned back than i raised my voice to customer care than he gave me Mr. K. L. Verma (Service Head) i had spoken with him in this regards but i only received poor service which i was expected because of from last month i am getting from your company ... frankly speeking. One Engineer has visited today(30-May-2008) itself and he was even not sound enough to service the AC but anyway he called up his senior and taking support on phone call for 2-3 hours but at the last i could not resolve the problem i calling to the concern frm your department but they are only giving me assurance to the Best Service inspite of giving professional Services.

            I recently bought this Voltas A/c from Vasanth & co in chennai, Since the day i have installed it there is been no cooling atalll...it takes three hrs to reach 26deg...When i complaint this, one service person (looks a lay man) came and checked it and told us A/c is fine but my room has lot of vents for cooling to escape. Now i have plugged all the gaps and done carpentry corrections, but still the performance is the same - worst. My fan work much better than this A/c.
            For everyone out there, please never ever think of buying Voltas A/C.
            I don't know how they are still in businees with this kind of product and service.

              We have lodged a complaint 10 days before at your service centre mentioned below :
              A-13/6 site-III, meerut road, ghaziabad
              about a recently bought voltas AC .
              Complaint no.19/36 of B-28 BRIJ VIHAR, Ghaziabad, near site-IV sahibabad
              They respond to our complaint after calling to them 20 times and atlast serviceman from yr company came on sunday.They were in hurry, they didn't even bother to check it properly, and instead of checking by themselves they make it our fault, that yr neutral wire is weak.In front of them we call up our electrician and hav checked everything, there's no fault from our side.when we told them to wait for sometime, they didn't listen to us n leave d place.

              I have purchased a new AC Machine vide model MWF-18CR on 23.04.2009 and installation is being done on 24.04.2009; but the fellows who have come to do the same they do not fill up the Machine Installation Coupon & Guarantee Registration Card and they may not convince clearly the operation procedure of its remote controll.

              Dear sir.

              I purchased one new Voltas AC on 04.02.09 at M/s.Jainsons, annagar at chennai. Vertis plus 1.5 ton model.
              and it Installed on 05.02.09. The AC was not working from 06.02.09 because of pc board probled. I frighted with voltas customer care people and retailer to replace a new one. But they wont accept to replace. but the customer care people to accept to change the new pc boad. finally they are fixed the repaired pc board only on 09.02.09.

              Again I faced the same problem on 03.06.09. I made a complaint to customer care. They came and taken the pc board on 06.06.09 and there was no reply for a long time. finally 19.06.09 the work was completed. Again 20.06.09 the Ac not working with the same problem. On 23.06.09 they came and taken the pc board again and still there is no reply.

              I never expect such a worst service from TATA enterprises.

              I fully agree with the comments. I'd purchased Vertis Gold(1.5t) from NEELU ELECTRONICS, BALLIA(UP) on 05 May 2009. Almost after 15 days the gas leaked owing to installation faults. After repeated requests the gas was though charged but the AC refuses to cool the way an AC should. The supplier was approached
              who requested the service engineers of Voltas in Ghazipur(UP) to attend to the fault. They came and got the job card signed by me sometime in the last week of June 2009 & left duly promising that the defect would be rectified in two days after due approval by authorities is carried out. On 13 Jul your company engineers were contacted on mobile([protected]) as to why they didn't turn-up for the needful. It was really shocking as well surprising to hear your staff saying that they are not responsible for the repairs. The matter was reported to the suppliers also but to no avail. Till date the AC continues to be a matter of grave repentence. May I request you to kindly initiate immediate corrective action in commensuration with the reputation & credibility of your organisation. With warm regards,

              I purchased a vertis plus one ton AC on 7/6/2009 from Jagota Electronics, Model Town, Delhi. But just After 10 days, AC is not working properly due Grill defect. and I made a request for removing the fault, your engineer came to remove but they kept promising me it would be solved after replacement of Grill cover that would take one month time. in between a new defect arises AC is working but Zero Cooling. I made a request to your call centre vide complaint no.09AU 101321 dated 10-8-09, 09SP071638 dated 7/9/09 respectively. I contacted your representative Mr. Sumit Talwar, but he always said i send the Email for replacement but no avail. So Kindly help me out for such difficulty . They came and taken the gas fullfill on the day and there was no reply for a long time. finally June2009 the work was completed. Again Novmber 2009 the Ac not working with the same problem. they came and taken the gas fullfill again and still there is no reply.

              I never expect such a worst service from TATA enterprises.

              I thinking was TATA Prroduct & survies was very poor.,

                I completely agree with the complaint filed. I am myself an agrieved customer of Voltas. They have provided me with a deffective unit and insist on only repairing the same and not replacing the unit. The unit has been giving me trouble right from the 1st week of its purchase. I bought the Airconditioner on 22nd May'09 and the problems started occuring from 29th May'09. And since then the problems have been increasing and everyday I have to complain to Voltas regarding something or the other. It seems that Voltas should start paying all its customers salary for doing a full time job of registering complaints on their call centre. Because purchasing a Voltas product means that you are only purchasing head ache for yourself.

                  I have bought Vertis elite 1 ton split AC from "R.A electronics, panch bati bharuch". Within a months time, i have a water dripping problem from the pipe. On complaining to R.A electronics, he did not respond for 8 days and on calling again, he said conveyance charges(Rs 150/-) has to be paid and even after this he does not guarentee immediate service. Does voltas have such bad dealers who piss off their customers?

                  Voltas Vertis Elite AC — worst installation

                  voltas A/C was newly purchased and installed 6 days back.Water has been leaking from inside through front panel.This has been happening daily .complaint logged.Voltas associate company person came from service.He just checked and told us that the problem has been rectified.But the next day the problem continues.Again we loged complaint.Anther person from the same company came.He also told us that the problem has been rectified.But same problem continues next day also.From the nextday of installatin this problem has being continues, but still nobody rectified it.we haven't used this product even for a single day from the day of purchase.worst service.

                  Service of volats really sucks
                  Even I have the same problem. The AC purchased by me had problems sice beginning but the dealer (Vikrant Electronics Showroom, Gurgaon) did not respond even after various complaints. Now finally the AC stopped working but the dealer did not attend the complaint. I am forwarding the matter to consumer court as I am fed up of it now. This level of after sales services by Voltas has really deteriorated the image of the Company.
                  I am facing the same problem. Dealer is unable to provide Service & Voltas customer Care centre is not responding properly. How can one suggest to go for voltas product with such a pitty exp.

                  Voltas Vertis Window AC - 1 Ton — Gaurantee/Waranty card Not signed & stamped

                  I bought Voltas Vertis Window AC - 1 Ton on 1st May 08 from Mercantile Agency, Salt Lake, Kolkata. Since that was a holiday (May 1st)the agency coudnot provide the electrician to fix. I got it fixed by my Appartment Technician. Till date the agency has not signed/stamped the gaurantee/Warranty card. I have been to the agency's office but he promised to call me and get it done. More than a month...No response.
                  I bought a 1.5 T Vertis Plus last year on 17th May.I got 2 free service coupon with that.
                  This year when on June 30 th I called up Voltar Call Centre, Ghaziabad for free servicing, they said that those coupons were valid only for one year.
                  1. The dealer from whom I purchased AC didn't tell me about it that such rule exist.
                  2. The Manual which comes with AC doens't say such rule .
                  3. How someone is supposed to use 2 free service coupon in a year? When I asked callcentre they said you should have used it once in the beginning of winter and once in March this year. Does it make sense ?
                  3. I asked her(customer care exec) to give me superior's nos, she gave me one which I am trying from 2 days but not reachable.

                  This is a big fraud, cheating. I am mailing the same to voltas and if I don't get any satisfying reply I am moving to consumer court.

                  This is to bring to your kind notice that we are struggling to log complaint against our voltas AC which is only 2 years old to customer care but all in vain.Customer care is not responding.We have shown the fault to nearest voltas dealer, he replaced two parts.                   Voltas Split A / C (Within Warranty) — A/C outdoor unit has stopped functining after the 1 service

                  I had Purchased an Split 1.5 T A/c Croma mall at hadapsar in Pune, Maharashtra . The Product is still under warranty and has been serviced once, however post the service the gas in the Outdoor unit has been leaking and after that the cooling has stopped when the engineer approached me he stated that it has happened due to gas leaking, The product is still under warranty and I am not willing to bear the costs of Replacement of the Gas and if required I am willing to sue the company as well.

                  Voltas Premium Window Air Conditioner — ac is not cooling

                  I had a new spilt air conditioner installed on april 17, 2009. I have not been able to use it since its intallation. Apparently water leakage starts immediately after air conditioner has been operational for 3 hours.

                  1.5 Ton split A/C — to avail the free service

                  On[protected] I made a call to register my compalint for free service afor which I call Id No.S8CA2803984 and again I reminded them On[protected] with an Id No.S8CB0306169. For the complaints there is no action. Again I contacted the service engineers and DK Engineering two times and finally on 13th Nove 2008 in the morning for which they have replied that with in two hours the service engineer visit your residence and do the service. When I contacted in the evening the enginerr is heldup in the traffic and he will visit with in half an hour. Since from morning I am in the residence and I could not go any where thinking that the service engineer may come at any time. Till now no one visited and the complaint is unattended. I don't know how these registrations are closed with out attending the complaints and the sevice of LG is seems to be very poor. If it is not attended taheaare is no other alternative that the consumers/customers should approach the appropriate authorities to redress their grievances
                  The same problem has ben faced by me as I bought an ac from Paschim vihar, New Delhi in Feb. 2008 then I shifted to Hisar where I went to a Voltas Ac Dealer, Dhuria & Co., Red square market Hisar to provide services but he denied saying that we will not do it as this has not ben purchased from us .

                  Purchased a voltas 1.5ton split AC(Vertis elite) from Vasanth & Co, chennai on February 7th, 2009. Day-1 itself problems started. Technician who came drunk was unable to identify the root cause. Service call registered from the show room was closed by the customer care (consent given by show room)mentioning that the call has been resolved. When contacted again, the customer care executive was not even ready to register a new complaint. When spoke to people concerned there was no clear explanation on how a malfunctioning unit is given to the customer. This throws light into various aspects: a) Loop holes in quality check at different levels
                  b) Lack of customer care
                  c) Negligence and don't care approach
                  d) Unprofessional approach in terms of installation and demo
                  Hope this experience would be an eye opener for others.

Very recently the Grille of the Window front broke and I lodged a complaint with your toll free number [[protected]] on April 09 2009 the complaint number being 09AP090134 and the customer ID given C0868197.An enginner called on my residence the next day and submitted his report vide FSR NO. 5944. Thta was the last I heared. As I didnot receive any call back I contacted Mr. Nair [ MOB [protected] on 13 April 2009 and he assured me that he would revert. As no response I called again free toll number and was requested to contact Mr. Patil [ MOB[protected] ] AND HE assured me on April 17 2009 that Mr. Nair will contact me IMMEDIATELY and try to resolve the matter. Mr Nair DID CALL and he advised that he does not guarantee a replacement grille but he will neverthe less arrange to take my existing grille and will see in the market availability.This was on 17 April @ 1600 hrs.After that once again AS IN THE PAST no body contacted abd I again contacted Mr. Patil and the blame game started the FINAL OUTCOME ZERO.

                  I have the same problem. I bought a couple of Vertis Elite ACs from Pankaj Electronics, Yusuf Sarai, New Delhi. The AC is not at all cooling from the first day and even after repeated complaints to the dealer and to the customer care department there is no response from them till now.
                  I sincerely hope that no one else faces the same problem and no one even bothers to but a Voltas AC. Go from some other brand given the attitude of the company.

                  Voltas Split 1.5T Vertis Plus — Broken part

                  Sir, i have purchased a Voltas split ac 1.5T Vertis Plus on dated 11/7/2008. The upper lock of ac cover was found broken when we were installing the ac. However it doesn't distrupt the working of the ac but when cover is opened for servicing it causes problem and it doesn't stand on lock.                   that one is not giving proper cooling. i want to replace this unit any way.
                  This unit was repaire 8 to 10 times to delear (Shri Hari Enterprise, Rajkot).
                  We have purchased We have purchased a "VOLTAS WINDOW AC 1.5 TON MODEL-VERTIS ELITE" from one of your dealor named "HARI SHARAN & SONS" @ 14-a Kamla Nagar, OPP Birla Mills Delhi-7 in the name of Anil Bajaj on 2-May-09.

                  As it was promised that it would be install on the same day but your Enginer came on 3rd and when it was installed there was an horrible noise from the same. When checked by the Enginer the FAN was making a noise and it was broken.

                  By buying the product from company like TATA we expect the problem would be understood and the product would be changed when it is not correct.

                  While calling the dealor he told as it is intalled and cant be changed, it is heard unearned money of Rs.19300.

                  Yes, we are middle class people and not making the right perception of your image in our minds.

                  It is a horrible experince to deal with one of the best companies in the world.

                  Voltas vertis 1.5 — Servicing with in one yerar had not done regularly

                  We had loged complaint on 25th of April '09 Complaint No. 09AP250588. But till the date no one has turned up. Again to day i.e. 05.05.09 We had loged a complaint No. 09MY050167 at the time of complaint they will send their customer service percen by 12 noo. after 12 noo when I called again they are saying that by 3 - 00 pm. this time also no one has come. again 3 - 00 pm they will rectify the problem by today itself. Is this the way to solve the problems.

                  I have bought two Voltas A.C, One window AC of 1 ton and one split AC of 1 ton last year. As per company policy, the company and the dealer (Yamuna Refrigerations Mr. Raju, of Yamuna Nagar, Haryana) has promised to give two free services in an year . One year is close to an end but the dealer is not paying any attention to the complaint. For the last 2 months i have been going to the dealers office, calling him regularly to do the service, as the AC is not cooling the room, but he is turning a deaf ear to our complaint. I have registered the complaint to the Voltas main complaint office in bombay also on 24th April 2009, they also promised to rectify the complaint within 48 hrs but till date 13 days have passed and they have done nothing.                   I have made a complaint of the dealer m/s Yamuna Refigerations, Yamuna Nagar Haryana to the Area Sales Manager of the co. ( Mr. Rahul ) also but till date, he also has not taken any action.
                  Now, as the summers have approached, and after 2 months of repeated torture, we are helpless and at the hands of the company.
                  I request you to please tell me, what should i do ? I have already spent so much amount in the calls to the co. and the dealer. Please help me in this regard.

Service booklet, manual everything was missing. Now for installation they are not turning up in spite of the fact that they have charged installation fee already in the bill and installation is due since last 3 days. They told me we solved this matter as soon as possible. But there is no reply/ action taken by them.                   I have bought Voltas Vertis plus air condition before 15 days. after the installation of AC when i start AC there is noise from inside. Your company engineers come two time but they are unable to ractify the fault. AC swing function is not working. AC remote is also not working.

                  With in 15 days these problems coming what happens after one or two year. if you will not take any concrete action in this regard, i will be force to go consumer court.

                  i have purchased a/c and the gift coupon i received was multi storage box. we have sent the scaratch card, bill copy, the number cutting on the carton box for which i am eligible, i recd an sms which shocked me that i was rejected. i think some malpractice is going on with the spectramind marketing people. please give me a clear answer, the box may be value of rs-250. but we have wasted our time in taking bill photo coping, wasting time cutting the serial no-on the carton box and postage.

                  AC Voltas Split, 1.5 Ton — improper customer care. no solution

                  We purchased the a.c on january. but we started using it by april. hardly after 10 days o[censored]sage, d ac started functioning started lowering and now it has almost stopped. hardly after 10 mins of switching on the ac, the compressor stops working and as a net result cool air stops coming out. the problem is persistent. we have lodged numerous complains at the customer care but to no avail. their mechanics come after numerous phone from our side and recommend us to buy a new stabilizer. we got one and installed it but the problem still exists. so we lodged a new complaint but their mechanics now says that the ac is perfect. its been four weeks since this problem has started. each time we have register a new complain and its only after 3 days the mechanics come. we are complete loss at this peak of summer season. we request the voltas customer care to do somthing about it at the earliest.
                  I too received the same type of SMS. I too lodged the complaint in this forum. There are more such guys whose claim has been rejected. On contacting, they are taking plea that scheme was valid on inbvoice billed between 28.03.09 and 05.04.09. But no such conditions was on scratch card and even dealer has not intimated any such thing.

                  I have bought a voltas vertis 1.5 ton window AC with remote on the 2nd of May 2009 from Naveen Electrotech PVT. Ltd H-4/4 model town_II, Delhi. Upon installation it was found that the remote was not functional/not compatible with the equipment and the motor was making a huge noise and compressor was faulty. We lodged a complaint (09NY030838) and faxed the bill as advised to the service centre. The service centre person has been sending engineer after engineer who come, visit, diagnose the problem and move on to say they would soon get back. It is 24th of May and till date neither the machine nor the remote has got rectified. The dealer who sold has nearly washed his hand's off except for assuring me that the matter has been taken at priority and also recites to me my complaint number as a way of assurance that the matter is being pursued. The service people recite my complaint number assuring that the call has not been closed so they would take it up. The service people have become inert to the extent that he assured that customer forum would be of no help and preferred to connect me to multiple number of people in Voltas who can help address the issue besides him trying his best. As I am writing this letter the Area Sales Mananger called and assured that it would be done by tomorrow.
                  I do hope that people get to visit this site before buying a voltas AC as this issue is not a solitary case of mine.
                  If my AC is not rectified I would and have resolved to approach the customer forum.

                  I purchased Voltas A.C 1.5 (Vertis Plus) on 30.4.09 vide bill no. 8164 from Jindal Enterprises,
                  Mahavir Enclave.

                  After installed, on checking we could find that the hand set was not working. Within a couple of

                  came and took the hand set back and promised us within one week it would be replaced.

                  I have boguth 1ton vertis split ac from delhi and instaled at Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP in April 2009. Within a few days the problem started like no display and made a complaint under 09MT092700 on 8th May. The same has been forwarded to your Raj Air Conditioning Co. Shalimar Garden Extn, Ghaziabad, U.P and someone came from their office and took the display and after on my call to them to find out they says the kit will have to take. After 2/3 days again I phoned to find out the status they said the motor will have to take - it was in the peak of summer in Delhi. Even after installing back the kit (was not operative at that time) they have not made any call to see whether the same is working or revist the same to install properly. Is it the say your franchise giving customer care after sales ??? Now the system is gone - water tray broken - (your raj people came and opened more than 20 times it should have broken at that time) and the water is dipping in the room. Please voltas higher authority look into this and replace the same immediately. Whats the use of going for an Indian product like Tata when they cant provide service properly. This step i took coz the big big advertisements in the newspapers and being the Indian product but shame on this - should have gone to other products like LG, Samsung atleast customer should have got the service definitely.

                  I would request the Tata group to see to this and let me know the remedy to this. This is even in guarantee/warranty period its happening. Would appreciate someone responding to this from the tata.

                  we buy 3nos Voltas AC & found at the time of installation that Grill has been broken. The complaint has been made on 20.05.2009. Thereafter no replacement till date after my severals request. As my openion that the image of Tata were damaged by its franchies because they not attending properly on behalf of Voltas.

Next morning the was hanging from the wall. Upon calling voltas, there repersentatives came and went back with out doing anything, i had to get private serivce provider to reinstall my AC. Not even one week has passed, my second AC stablizer stoped working, again upon complaing to voltas a guy came after 2 day after the complaint date to collect the stablizer. now it is more than six days and there is no response from voltas.

                  Since the purchse the of this compressor was not working . I had called the A C Technician several times but their sevice was very poor . Often the service center phones didn't response properly .

                  I am very disappointed with Voltas as firstly i didn't receive any of the two free services promised by Voltas and secondly when i tried to call up Voltas in order to provide my with the services, none of the phone numbers present on the Voltas Website seem to be correct, the customer care number also appears to be non existent.

                  Due to this negligence from Voltas' side my A.C has stopped working now and its just been one year.But the problem is that its still impossible to get in touch with Voltas.Its a pathetic company which is offering pathetic services to its customer.It has absolutely no concerns about its customers.I would not advice anybody at all to buy Voltas products since their after sales services are as poor as it can get.

                  I'd like prompt action from Voltas' side for this behaviour of theirs so as to reach to a suitable solution to my problem.

                  Customer Care Sucks !!! Never Ever buy a VOLTAS, its a bad bet and I am really paying for it.
                  We bought 2 to split AC from Khanna Aircon, Faridabad in March, 2008. This year we lodges complaint
                  with Voltas complaint centre at [protected] since 26.5.2009. The compressor of the AC is not working
                  which is under warranty for 5 years. Following complaint Nos. were given by Voltas Centre :

                  I AM LITERALLY SUFFERING WITH A SPLIT AIRCONDITIONER (MODEL VERTIS PLUS-1.5TON) WHICH INITIALLY SPRINKLED WATER, LATER ON NOW WATER IS POURING (JUST IMAGINE COLD WATER POURING ON SLEEPING PEOPLE, MATRESS, PILLOW, COT ETC., IN THE MIDST OF NIGHT) FROM THE INDOOR UNIT.
                  ATLEAST HALF A DOZEN SERVICE TECHNICIANS HAVE VISITED MY HOUSE AND EACH ONE GIVES SOME STORY AND LEAVES PROMISING THAT IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. IT WILL BE OK FOR SOME TIME AND AGAIN WILL START POURING WATER.
                  I AM SERIOUSLY THINKING OF FILING A CASE AGAINST THEM IN THE CONSUMER FORUM. "GUYS!! BEWARE AND BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CHOOSE YOUR A/C".

                  Voltas, Godreg — Poor service and no installation, ignoring behaviour of service desk,no updates etc etc.

                  The most pathetic service i have ever recieved is by reliance digital store (Shipra mall).
                  At the time of sale nobody guided me that they dont entertain grilled(iron) windows so i have to search for a welder get the things done for them.
                  secondly the new refridgerator which i bought is not working at all, engineer from reliance came and kicked it and guided me that it will work after 4 or 5 hours but its not.

                  Am still waiting for the installation and fridge repair there are no followup calls by service desk with customer, everytime i call they put me onhold or dont pick it.

                  I really dont know where to go. Please suggest me some way to escalate my query to higher authorities as i really want to take this to higher level.

                  vertis plus — ac not working since i bought it

                  i complaint about my ac 3 4 times but it not repaired yet. they took my ac and replace compressor and charge 2500 for ac gas still condition is same. it my worse experience with voltas.
                  I have bought one voltas AC and found that the given remote is of other model and not working with the AC. I had launched the complaint and waiting for the new remote from last 60 days. Is there any body who knows the no. of senior officer of Voltas.

                  Voltas / Split AC 1.5 Tonnes — FAULTY BRAND NEW PROUDCT

                  Its been 6 days we have purchased a votas 1.5 tone split a/c. It worked for only one hr and stopped.

                  We have registered a complaint for the same with Voltas customer support. However they responded after 4 days and told us its the unit which is faulty.

                  As there was leakage in the unit, the gas was gone.

                  However on the seventh day after 100's of call, finally a person came to see the faulty unit and weilded the brand new a/c unit.

                  Irrespective of the brand new product they have wielded the faulty product and refused to replace the same.

                  Kindly replace the wielded unit and we need a brand new unit for which we have paid the money more.

                  Please do the needful.

                  Voltas Vertis Plus Window AC 1.0 Ton — NOT WORKING properly from day of purchase

                  The A/c is not running for even 5 minutes properly. The A/c is not going to set temperature in any mode.

                  I had purchased a Voltas Vertis Elite Window 1.5 T A/C from Navrang Audio & Video Pvt. Ltd. Lakshmi Nagar (Bill# 7879) on 12th Sep 2008. SO this is in GUARANTEE PERIOD. In this summer season, from last 10-15 days it has started troubling us. When we on the A/C it works well, but after auto cut the compressor do not start again.
                  The worst part is the whenever we lodge a complaint in customer care, the service engineer comes, and surprisingly, each one gives a different logic/problem. On complain # 09JL131087 (Dt 13 Jul 2009) the engineer came and said, " the compressor is faulty and need to be replaced ". I was bit surprised with the comments, as it starts well and cools nicely, but only it do not start again after auto cut off. I did not satisfied and made another complaint # 09JL150374 on 15th Jul 2009, the second service engineer came, and said the computer panel is faulty and it is not controlling the work of the compressor properly.
                  Now I am in a dilemma, how to believe upon, again the Marketing Manager Mr. Rajeev (M # [protected]) for this reason, is a very rude person, and do not try to understand anything.
                  I am now fed up off this issue, and will not suggest anybody to go for VOLTAS. We have put our hardened money, and this company do not hear even in the Guarantee period. Moreover the After sales service is so poor that the engineers are not able to analyze the situations themselves.
                  I work in a big corporate, where almost 600 people work together, if will not be able to stop ALL of them to purchase VOLTAS A/C, but I am sure few of them will definitely agree to this and will never go for VOLTAS A/C.

Voltas service persone told me if I received this body than I replacing. But how much time are you taken? Today 1.5 months was completed but my problem was not solved.

                  Voltas/ Split Air Conditioner 1.5 ton — Not proper working since installation

                  I have purchased one Voltas (Vertis Plus 1.5 ton) Split AC from M/S Oswal Electricals(Sole Authorised distributors at Jabalpur) on 27.04.2009 vide their bill no 449 dated 28.4.2009 for Rs 26000/- It was not working properly from the date of installtion. I have requested several times to Mr Golchha, Prop of Oswal Eletricals but giving assurance that in a day or two mechanic will be coming. Now almost three months have passed and no proper reply/response received from the dealer.
                  Now I feel that I should approach Consumer Forum for my comlaint.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I had purchased a Voltas Ellite 1.5 Ton split AC on 24 Apr 08 from Voltas agency in sec 47d Chandigarh. The AC is not coling properly from day one and on complaint the company representative visited the office but said that he will send the senior technician as to him machinery is OK so he can't understand why AC is not cooling properly. But to this day no one has visited the office to rectify the complaint. We had purchased the "Voltas" as being a good brand but now we doubt our decision.

                    Please look into this matter.

                      I had purchased one window air conditioner “1.5T Voltas Vertis Plus SR.No.7D031062” on dated 24.07.2007 from “DTC Appliances, 111/428, 80 feet Road, Kanpur (bill no 3677 dated 24.07.2007) . The A.C. with stabilizer was installed ( Slip no 3663 dated 24.07.2007) by the mechanic of DTC Appliances at my residence “Flat no 11, Type-IV, Telecom Officers Colony, Moti Mohal Kanpur. ( Ph:[protected].
                      On 20.04.2008 A.C. stopped cooling of air. When it was complaint to the dealer, The A.C. was un-stalled and sent to his work-shop. The dealer has reported that the compressor is defective and will be replaced. And till today (05.05.2008) The A.C is not repaired.
                      At my home the use of A. C. is only 4 to 5 hrs per day only during summer season. Now it is very shocking to me that only after 9 months of purchase ( which also includes 4 months of winter season) the compressor becomes defective.
                      it is therefore requested that my whole A.C. may kindly be replaced with new unit so I can get satisfaction form Voltas Branded product.

                        I have purchase above mentioned AC on 18.04.07 which was delivered to me on 21.04.07 from United Agencies, New Delhi-110002. The booklet provided to me was having Two Free service coupens. Now when i m asking for that free service, they are denying saying that it should be availed withing 12 month from the date of purchase. Neither the coupens nor the booklet mentioning that these free service coupens can be availed within 12 month from the date of purchase. Moreover i was not told about this fact at the time of purchasing that the free service coupen can be availed within 12 month. Every Person make it AC serviced after a season is over.

                        We have installed Voltas Air Ductable AC at our hotel named HOtel Mittaso, a unit of LJR INN Pvt. Ltd. Chandigarh-Zirakpur Road, Zirakpur.

                        Air Duct is leaking from many joints and we have made complain regarding this to local service providor, one service person visit and saw the problem he reported to us that two sensor and two remote are missing while we have installed NEW plant and It is not even started ONCE and both things is missing. Either Distributor have not given the sensor and remote or that remote and sensor was not available on the system. The Distributor has taken upto Rs.2.00 Lacs and he is not providing any bill for the AC plant.


                        Ocne I called up Mr. Garg (Head of Service) . He asked me that " who has given you my number " don't call me again and I will not do any thing regarding this as i am dealing in only windows ac.


                        Nobody is taking any responsibility for the same and the problem still exist.

                        and the dealers has not provides us enough service for one year.they used to come only when we ring up and call them and for above two months AC is not working in proper condition(not poviding chillness) so we call them, even they came and told us it is due to improper current, but the fault is not due to current but it is due to AC's improper condition. we came to found this above so we call the dealers to above address and spoke the above ie; the fault is only on AC even the electrician one who came also told us it is not an fault due to current but it is due to AC but these dealers are not accepting that instead arguing with the same reason that fault is on current. yet it's not so
                        and we call them many times but no response in them .so please
                        understand the customers situation and provide us the good solution as soon as possible.

                          I have been sending continuous servicing complain to Voltas. We are having Duct AC in our office. Every time customer care people write our request, even technician also call us that he will be visiting. But it has been three days and every day we hear new excuse.

                          I purchased 2 new Voltas 1.5 ton inverter AC from G.K Electronics,
                          west Patel Nagar, New Delhi, which is not working properly, it was
                          installed on 29th May and worked only for 3 days. Since 1st of June,
                          it's not been working and I have complained about the issue to your
                          customer service but till now I get no response from your side nor any
                          technician visit. I am getting an issue with your new product within a

                            I purchased voltas ac model vertis premium on 24 Mar 08 from Lucky Refrigeration Nashik (Maharashtra). Before the purchase I contacted the company's business head Mr K Pande at Pune who gave me the address of their dealer at Nashik. On contacting the dealer he said that the ac has to be purchased before 25 Mar 08 otherwise the rebate of Rs 500/- would not be available. Since I had to go out of station on official duty, my wife had gone to the dealer. He didnot deliver the ac at home and asked me to collect it from his shop to save transportation and octroi expenditure. He charged me Rs 17500/-. My wife selected a piece but the dealer misled her by saying that the other piece was better and had his way through in selling the piece of his choice. This was inspite of the fact that I had told him on telephone much in advance that the piece selected by us would be bought and not what he selects. The mechanic came after two days to install the ac. On my return to home after duty on 30 Mar, I found that the front panel lock was broken and the vent lever was not moving. The vent door was so tight that the lever could not open it and on trying the lever also broke. The dealer was told about it and he refused to do any thing and is not willing to take responsibility for supplying the defective piece. He was contacted on tele on number of occassions and did send the mechanic to check. The mechanic firstly said that there was nothing wrong with the locks and when shown the broken part he also refused to do anything about it and refused to take responsibility for installing a defective piece. On telling them that I am willing to pay for the broken vent lever provided the vent door opens with the new lever, the dealer has not done anything till now. My complaint is that the dealer knew about the defects in the piece and misled us to by the piece which he wanted to sell and not the one we wanted. Secondly he refuses to own responsibility for supplying the piece with defects and is not willing to repair or replace the defective parts.

                            We are from Hotel Landmark, Ranchi Which is a 4 star property, just opened 2 months before.

                            We purchased near about 50 ACs from voltas for our hotel. some are split, some windows and some cassetts.


                            we are not happy at all with the services. we did complaint to the dealer, to the area manager but got no result.
                            most ACs not cooling at all.getting alot guest complaints regarding ACs. Now we are in very false position. we have a duct AC of 5 tons in reception which is not working.many a mechanic came but did nothing.we are suffering since last month and got no service.

                            If this is the condition within 2 months from the date of purchasing ACs then what will happen after 2 years, thinking this feeling very upset.

                            Sir, I have purchased a new AC of 1 ton of Voltas Model Vertis Premium last month from Baria Electronics. As i have checked the ac its doesnot functions i asked the retailer to change the piece but he rejects to change the ac than i complaint the service centre but my ac is still not working.                               I bought recently a Voltas Split A/C from Bhubaneswar (Freezco - Unit 4 ). After the installation in 2 days while switching it on it made a strange sound with some light and stopped working . After continuously calling the distributor agent for more than 10 days finally they came and after struggling for hours to know what is wrong they changed the display unit and said it is fine now . The very next day same thing happened again and it stopped working . The distributor does not respond to the calls and is not at all helping to resolve it . Does anybody know how can i escalate to Voltas Regional Managers ?

                              Voltas Split A / C — Poor Services, In-skilled service persons, doesn't know what he is doing.

                              We bought Voltas Split A/c from Vivek & They did the installation. It keeps dripping water from the date it was installed. So far they have come about 5 times to fix it. Still it is dripping & spoiling my newly painted walls. It looks like they do not have properly trained service persons. Each time we have to call & wait for the people to come up. They will never turn-up. your day is waisted waiting for them.

                              We have been facing problem with VOltas Split Air conditional for past 2 Months and it has not been attended to We have Called up and Spoken to the Voltas Call Center Number in Chennai.

                              2. On 8th OCt 09 the Unit was Installed back saying everything Okay. An Amount of Rs 2650 was Pid to Voltas as service Charge. A warrenty of Six Months was promissed for the Service Done

                              3. on 22nd OCt 2009 - Call Number 17301 was Logged with Details " Cooling was exterrmly poor and the split A/c not working properely again.

                              4. sevice Engineer attened immediatly and expalined gas had to be filled again.

                              5. Till Today we have Called Voltas Manay many times and have Spoken to a person called Ranjith , and Other call center executives. Till Today ( 26th Nov), No one has either Visited or have called Back and the problem has Not been attended so far.

                              We did not Expect such a poor a Poor service from Voltas, Pls attened to the Problem quicky failing which

Everytime we call them up, we are told that the same would be attended today before the day end, but that's never to come.                                 The Voltas Vertis model AC was bought a year ago, for the fourth time the AC is not working. Each time a complaint is being made, they take their own time to attend the serivice required. proper customer care support is required

                                Dear sir,
                                i bought an voltas vertis gold window airconditioner on 28.03.2008.there s a noise coming out from the compressor .voltas service centre persons came and confirmed that there s a noise, and given me a report stating that noise problem, but the dealer vasanth& co was nt still taken back.voltas company s ready to replace the ac.but i lost hope with voltas, i would like to change the brand, what should i do, pls help

                                The Voltas Vertis model AC was bought two year ago, and shop keeper told me "voltas will provide two time free servicicng" and i didn't get even one. and Ilogged a complaint in cusyomer care tand they are not responding. its a totally harshment.

                                We purchased near about 50 ACs from voltas for our hotel. some are split, some windows and some cassetts.
                                we are not happy at all with the services. we did complaint to the dealer, to the area manager but got no result.
                                most ACs not cooling at all.getting alot guest complaints regarding ACs. Now we are in very false position. we have a duct AC of 5 tons in reception which is not working.many a mechanic came but did nothing.we are suffering since last month and got no service.

                                If this is the condition within 2 months from the date of purchasing ACs then what will happen after 2 years, thinking this feeling very upset.

                                Voltas AC 1.0 ton vertis gold — Poor efficiency since purchase

                                Voltas vertis gold 1.0 ton ac has been purchased from ratna stores, chennai almost 2 years back, intermitently complaint was brought to the service center for poor efficiency( less cooling effect) . Mechanic came and did his job not satisfactorily, therefore its requested to depute an engineer and find the real fault and rectify the same at the earliest...The ac function is as good as fan

                                They respond to our complaint after calling to them 20 times and atlast serviceman from yr company came on sunday.They were in hurry, they didn't even bother to check it properly, and instead of checking by themselves they make it our fault, that yr neutral wire is weak.In front of them we call up our electrician and hav checked everything, there's no fault from our side.when we told them to wait for sometime, they didn't listen to us n leave d place.

                                this is the condition when product is within warranty, what will happen afterwards once warranty is over!!!

                                I purchased a VOLTAS VERTIS - gold on 27 April 2008, and it has been repaired two since. the customer care service is soo poor that I had to call the area manager almost every day to respond. I asked for the extended gaurantee, however i have stopped geting any response form the Area manager.

                                The customer care is absolutely useless and even the higher authority does not bother. I think this is one of the reason that Indian companies dont do well, we trusted the brand name tata, but I think this was really a TATA to any of there brands.
                                i purchase a VOLTAS VERTIS - PLUS 1 TON WINDOW..And it has been repaired 3 times since..The customer Care Service is too poor..When the Engineer Came he Started The compressor by throwing water on A.C. When i complained to customer the voltas did not receive any complaints. However I have stopped getting any response from Voltas Heads..
                                The Customer Care is totally useless and Even the Head does not bother. I trusted on Voltas A.C. But in future i Suggest to Other peoples not to purchase Voltas A.C. The voltas A.C are really Crap...

                                I purchased two Voltas Vertis Split ACs on 25th june 2008 and eversince having nightmarish experience with ACs and custmor care. one AC stopped working very next day 26 june 2008 instead of cooling it was blowing hot air eversince i ve been calling them to et this problem rectified, their servicemen (who dont even look like technicians let alone enginners )come n go without doing any damn thing .They were always in hurry, they didn't even bother to check it properly, and instead of checking by themselves they always give flimsy excuses like your house is on top floor, weather is hot, stabalizers are not good (we changed two stablizers within two months ) and one of them went to outrageous extent of saying "ye ac to aise hi chalte hain... inka kuchh nahi ho sakta..they always make it our fault, that your neutral wire is weak, In front of them we called up our electrician and got it checked everything, there's no fault from our side. even once on my insistence they took it for one week at their workshop and returned the same ac ... and problem persists..honestly speaking none of their so called technicians even can make out cause of problem n they keep on attributing this problem to any thing and every thing in world except admitting its their machine is faulty and to top of all their customer care is absolutely useless...their area manager sumit talwar simply does not know how to behave...i warn others go for even local made ACs but not to this voltas which is just all crap
                                I have a voltas vertis AC and recently got transfered from pondicherry to coimbatore. And I registered my name at nearest voltas dealer at coimbatore for installation on 28-2-09 but till date almost 11 days they are yet to respond to my request. I have made regular followup but no result. And I believe this company a TATA product doesnt have any customer care unit to register a complaint or service.

                                Hello, myself Bharat Bhushan from Paschim Vihar I am a Sports Coach.
                                I purchased an AC WAC 1.5 Tr from Sunview electronics, the person (Mr. Arjun) who came initially for installation did a very shabby job and wasnt even carrying a helper with him. Seeing this I called up Voltas Service Manager Mr. Sumit Talwar he was very polite and humble and even though I was calling up at 8am in the morning he listened to me carefully and immdiately sent a team for installation I am very happy and delighted with this. Though I faced trouble at start while installing AC but the kind of support given to me by Mr Sumit Talwar was excellent and I think its due to such people only Voltas is able to sustain in the market...

                                Seeing so many complaints with Voltas AC, I find myself one among the crowd. My Voltas windows AC has been giving a lot of problems - Fan is not working, Fan Capacitor is not working, Fan bearing is defunt and now the motor is not working!!!
                                Voltas is no-1 cheater, i have bought 0.80 tom window AC and stopped working in 13th Month, when i have called to customer care they have told me that they will charge Rs.300 to come for visit and they will check the problem and all the repairing and replacement charges are to be borne by you.

                                This is just looting
                                I am strongly dissatisfied with the service facility of Volts A/c service center. I am regularly filling a complaint regarding the A/c but they don't have ear to listen. I have feced lots of problem in these days bcz of my A/c is not working due to some deffect in parts. Now i want to sue on comanpny for the problem faced by me due to the A/c.
                                VOLTAS NO! Lutera. ... Don't purchase the A/c of VOLTAS COMPANY Never and Ever . If you purchase the A/c produce of this comany then u r the fool no-1, and u r going to bear the loss of duble amount of A/c.

                                So its my advice to all customer that DON't Buy the A/c of VOLTS.
                                The comment and attitude of mechanic is not good. I also purchased a voltas split AC from Panvel
                                and since the date of installation AC is not working. I have decided to bring the matter with Consumer
                                redressal forum very soon.

                                After giving several calls to voltas customer care, but no body till date i.e.[protected],
                                came for demo.
                                I think that there is no officer or supervisor in voltas to see that voltas customer care
                                person & its technician working properly.
                                I think that i had done a great mistake to purchase voltas ac, which is not bother to demo
                                what they (voltas) people do if some fault increase during guranty period.

                                Request to all that before purchase voltas ac, think thousand time for service & other

                                I thought I was only one who was suffering. I have bought an 1 ton split ac 45 days back. There was a small problem with the autoswing. I have called up customer care and lodged a complaint. After giving two calls a day, the guy named Murali from Sri Sai Air Conditioners, Koti, Hyderabad turned up after 15 days and with all his experience he broke the lowers. From then there has been a continous replacement of the lowers which were told as shipped from TATA manufacturing unit with all possible delaying. Strangly none of the pieces fit into my ac and they say that it becomes perfect after some time. These guys have defined a new meaning for the branded products. I just one to say one thing: A ### gives proper service than these guys. TATA Voltas customer care is bull ###
                                I am quite disappointed with my Voltas ac too. It is less than a year old, that is under warranty, and it barely cools. I have put in numerous complaints, but no engineer has visited to resolve the issue. More importantly i have not even received a single free servicing till date. I am surprised that a renowned brand like TATA is running a con where they disappear as soon as they are paid for the ac. I don't think i'll ever purchase a TATA product ever again in my life.

                                The ironic part is that my dad told me not to buy Voltas, and i insisted that "It is a TATA product". Anyways, he replaced his with an LG and i replaced mine with a Voltas Vertis Plus. He has received amazing after sales service from LG while i'm still waiting for the friggin ac to work. It is amazing that Koreans can come to India and do a great job of things, and our indigenous firms are completely incompetent to service the local markets.

                                If you call the customer service, in all probabilities you will speak with Javed A or Javed M (it seems the call center has decided to call every customer care rep as Javed so that the representative cannot be traced by a customer, or the fact that there are only two representatives running the call center). Ask for an escalation to lodge a complaint and the customer rep will give you wrong or disconnected numbers just to end the call. After calling and speaking with the multiple Javeds in the customer care department and receiving numbers of various head of departments, I still have not been able to speak with a person who can help me out.

                                As a last resort, I went to the shop from where I had originally bought the Voltas ac. I was surprized at what i heard from the sales rep: "Ek baar Voltas ac mein problem aa jaye to phir baar baar aati hai. Aap doosri company ka naya ac kyon nahi le lete". So now even the retailers are pushing brands other than Voltas.

                                End result, I went to the place where my dad bought his LG from and ordered an LG ac.

                                Voltas AC-Vertis — POOR SERVICE: IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL

                                It is with utter frustration that I am writing to you about this product. I had purchased VOLTAS AC-Vertis -2 ton split ac. in feb 009 for my office. Believe it or not, these people had installed it their own sweet way and because of this the entire gas leaked out. Now after several complaints they took their own time to come and visit and reapired. Not even a week has passed and still it is not working. It is scorching heat here in Chandigarh and my staff are also suffering. We all need a solution for this or ban this product instead of such situations.

                                Voltas Vertis Gold 1.0 Ton split AC — No service support by the Authorised Dealer

                                Sir, I purchased Voltas Vertis gold 1.0 Ton split AC from Durga Airconditioning Pvt. Ltd, Pitampura Main Road, Delhi-34 on[protected], and now I want the servicing of my AC, but even after complaining for more than one week, the Authorised dealer i.e., Durga Airconditioning is not sending anybody for service. please help.

But no service men has attended the complain till now.

                                The after sales support of Voltas is poor and pathetic. The call center no.[protected] is difficult to get. The call center agents cannot provide any information about the visit of the engineer to repair the AC. They calim that your service/complaint call will be responded withing 24-48 hours which is not done. It is highly disappointing to note that companies like Voltas re offerring services which are nothing but trash. I had logged in my call for service on 28th April 2009 which was not attended to till 30th evening forcing me to get my AC repaired though some experienced AC mechanic. The RM seems to be not bothered about the quality of services being offered.
                                i bought tata voltas ac with 3years warranty 20 months ago through instolment but after full payment the distibuter does not give me any customer care services i want your company take a proper action against my distibuter otherwise i will go to consumer court.???/

                                I am one of your customers, and a couple of week back, we bought an VOLTAS ACs with I.Q (A TATA Product)* from RefAir Engineering Works, and we found ourselves helpless even after making numerous calls to you, but nothing comes to us except falls commitments and promises.

                                We have been informing you that the AC is not up to the mark and running like a senseless machine. You can't even compare that with a water cooler, though.
                                After consulting many other customers, we found VOLTAS would be smart choice to go with, but...

                                We request you, kindly suggest us! what to do now, so that we can ride of that issue ASAP.

                                I have purchased 2 nos of voltas 1.5 ton split A/c Vertis one year back.Now the cooling is very slow.The insulation materials used for copper tubes are of low quality. The insulating materials have been worned away. I made a complain with my dealear in Karur (TN ). After 2 or 3 days I received an SMS that my complain has been regitered and the service Engineeer will be attending the complains shortly. Now nearly 10 days have been passed but the repairs are yet to be attended.Why cant the voltas customer service be rejuvanated ?

                                I purchased a Voltas Split Vertis 2ton A.C. from your representative in Moradabad. After operational for about 3 months it has developed a snag. After repeated complaints your voltas representative is not able to rectify it . he takes away the chip of the a.c. and make me wait for month, courting that it has to be send to ghaziabad for repair.

                                by the 9th month it stopped cooling. i asked the retailer to provide the service he did sent someone and charged me for that but didnt gave ne receipt. then i saw in the booklet that i was entitled to 2 free service and when i asked him about that he mis behaved and the ac again failed in 2 3 days. i again complained but no one came . then i launched complaint with customer care but nobody came. now its out of warranty period and still no response . do not know what to do. it was a mistake to buy a TATA product. anyone going for a voltas ac or any TATA product dont go for it. u will regret like me.

On 12th may 2009 it start giving us problem its not working, then we complaint in voltas company person, from 12-th may to 14th may we have done round about 45 calls on no. +91-[protected] &[protected] they are giving us excuse and talking with us so rudely but then also we have to call them they are giving us excuse like we will come after 2hours or we will be free then only we will come other wise tomorrow. But 3days spent no response is coming from your side. They tell us to change MCB, WIRING, STABLIZER we have done all these things but then also it’s not working.

                                Amar Singh Club, Jammu purchased Voltas ACs from you in the year 2007. At the very beginning of installation of A/Cs, one A/C was not functioning properly. We requested so many times for its service/replacement. Your company engineers visited the club many times but could not set right the A/C. Ultimately the A/C was replaced by another AC. But by replacing the AC the problem could not be solved as the AC installed also not functioning properly. The Engineer of your company have tried to set right the defect but could not set right the same with the result that Club Management is facing embracement from Hon’ble members.
                                We request you once again to please take personal interest and ensure that the AC is got set right within 2 days. If it is not repairable the same may be replaced immediately. In case it is not done, we shall have no option but to approach the Consumer Court for a relief.

                                i bought window ac from discount store at delhi karol bagh 0n 16.05.09 and no body cared to see whether the new window AC has been installed or not and even after calling customer care on 08.06.09 no body has turned up to see the functioning of the ac nor has any body given any demo till now. How is the Company like TATA failing to take a note of all this even the complaints as above, i think the oweners have decided to close the company early. I am strongly dissatisfied with the service facility of Volts A/c service center.
                                We have purchase 7 air conditoner from Luck Referigerator, nashik at September 2008. and he give us only one remote controll for all seven air conditioner. we paid full payment against the purchase of air conditioner. after a regular follow up for the problem but the concerened is not responding proeprely after six month and after the full payment he can not give the services. we beleive in TATA product but the service provider is not satisfy our needs. so we think about in our next purchase.so please take a action and solved our proble. as soon as possible.

                                I fully agree with your view and sincerely suggest that one should never buy Voltas Vertis A.C. as its performance is far from satisfactory. Being a TATA product I also thought that its after sales services would be of high order but it always failed to deliver. My A.C.is out of prder for the last 1 month but its defect has not been rectified so far.
                                My ac was not comming below 27degree. I called up customer care and got the complaint No.09ju12968
                                3days After the Technician came and checked it and told us it needs a chemical washing, And it was taken to the service center and came back .only labouers came along with ac and they just fix it a back and taken all the payment and gone . Our money and time do not have value
                                I made a complaint re. my Voltas AC on 22nd June 2009. I was promised that it would be attended to within 24-48 hours. After that alomost 4 working days have passed but nothing has been done so far. One can't expect such a POOR RESPONSE FROM A TATA GROUP COMPANY.

                                I have purchased a wondow AC 1.5 ton from M/s Ashok Sales Agency, Faridabad on 22.04.09. Till date no service engineer visited for the installation nor for the service irespective of constant follow up with the dealer. Now the AC giving abnormal sound and its control system is not working properly.

                                I bought AC Few Days Back and Now it is not cooling after 10 days of installation. No one in the Company is bothered to attend the complaint. Each time toll free number is contacted. new Complaint number is given but till now no one have attended . Will never suggest to Buy any of Tata Product.
                                I had purchsed a Voltas Vertis window AC in 2003. The remote was working okay, it developed some snag in 2008. The local dealer could not rectify even after 4 attempts. I am now using the AC in a fixed mode at 25O C. The remore technology has t be revived by Voltas.
                                Similarly my Hospital, AH Regional Cancer Center purchased 2 nos of split ACs in june 2008. The machine has a warranty of 1 yr and the compressor has 4 yts warranty. The remote developed ame snag on 23.5.2009. The dealer could not rectify. Came again on 24.6.2009, only to tell that it can not be repaired. He took the remote sensor from the split AC and has not come back as yet,
                                The AC is in the operation hteatre and the surgical operations is affected to a great extent. Poor cancer patients are returned because of non-functioning of AC in the OT.
                                I think, Voltas should have control swithes on the AC in addition to remote .

                                I have purchased Voltas Water Dispenser 2 years back. Now this summer suddenly water is not getting cool. I have lodged a complaint on 15th May & this complaint got attended within 72 hours. Then on 25th May, service engineer took my water dispenser & brought it back after 7-8 days. Then after drinking cold water say about for 4-5 days, this dispenser again giving the same problem. Now iam regularly following with their call centres & everytine they commit that somebody will be visiting at my place within 24 hours but till now nobody has attended my complaint.

                                Is this type of service this TATA Group brand Voltas honours?

                                In this hot summer, iam not able to drink cold water for last 7-8 days???

                                What a great service??? I will never buy or recommend this company product to anyone.

                                My ac was not comming below 27 degree. I called up customer care and got the complaint No.09ju260196 After that Technician came and checked it and told us it contains less gas, And it was taken to the service center and came back and they just fix it back .                                 This is true. We buy the Vertis Voltas AC on 26th June 2009, from Noida Electronic gallery sec-18 Noida. The Noida electronic gallery is always ready to get money from the consumer. The implementation guy was so poor that when he was doing the fitting, he forgets to remove the thermocol between the compressors. Which results in lot of noice? He almost hampers our front face of AC by his hammer. It looks like 6 months old body in just 1 day time.
                                There are lots of problems. Till date no demo guy is there. There are lot problems with display.
                                Such a poor facility.
                                We are badly suffered in these summers.

                                I purchased two Voltas Vertis ACs on 26th April 2008 one split and one window . eversince i am faing problem in my window AC for not cooling properly their servicemen (who dont even look like technicians let alone enginners )come n go without doing any damn thing .They were always in hurry, they didn't even bother to check it properly, On 05.07.2009 suddenly my AC stopped cooling, I made a complaint and the very same day I receive SMS on my mobile phone stating "Thanks for registering call with VOLTAS. Your call no is 09JL050625. Your customer id is C0026030.You will be attended to shortly and till that nobody has turned up.

                                I don't see at VOLTAS website any consumer greivences link which is very surprising. If anybody knows about it pl let me know. their customer care does not pick up phones or otherwise suggest how to handle the situation.

                                I fully agree with the comments. I'd purchased Vertis Gold(1.5t) from NEELU ELECTRONICS, BALLIA(UP) on 05 May 2009. Almost after 15 days the gas leaked owing to installation faults. After repeated requests the gas was though charged but the AC refuses to cool the way an AC should. The supplier was approached
                                who requested the service engineers of Voltas in Ghazipur(UP) to attend to the fault. They came and got the job card signed by me sometime in the last week of June 2009 & left duly promising that the defect would be rectified in two days after due approval by authorities is carried out. On 13 Jul your company engineers were contacted on mobile([protected]) as to why they didn't turn-up for the needful. It was really shocking as well surprising to hear your staff saying that they are not responsible for the repairs. The matter was reported to the suppliers also but to no avail. Till date the AC continues to be a matter of grave repentence.                                 During the period w.e.f.15.06.2009 to till date, my window a/c vertise, 1.5 tone has not been repaired by the authorised service provider of Voltas Ltd., North zone Delhi at my residence Mayur Vihar, Phase-I Extenstion. I also contacted Sh.Prashant Rastogi, Area Manager, Voltas Ltd., but it seems to me that I am making useless effort in this regard. I would like to advise Voltas Ltd. to stop manufacturing any kind of airconditioner for the public. Lock your company, make free tensioned people who have already purchased such kind of air conditioner, because they have already become victims by investing huge amount in purchasing such third-class air-conditioner. I would also like to advise other people not to purchase any type airconditioners from Voltas Ltd.
                                I purchased Voltas vertis window airconditioner from Neha Electronics Mayur Vihar, Phase-I Extension, Delhi on 23.04.2005. As on date air-conditioner is not working properly, vide complaint no.09JU150056 dated 15.06.2009, Voltas Ltd. sent a mechanic from M/s.Shubham Service, A-2/66, New Kondli, Delhi for investigation and he advised gas filling at the cost of Fs.2500/- on 17.06.2009. Within a week, same problem occurred. I again lodged complaint on dated 23.06.2009, I am very surprised to note that nobody from Service Centre attended the call. As we are office-goers and could not be able to follow up. Again on dated I registered a complaint No.09JL232121 on 23.07.2009 at Voltas Call centre and regularly made a telephonic contact, but nobody heed to my complaints. On dated 30.07.2009, I had discussion on telephone with Sh.Prashant Rastogi, Area Manager, Voltas Ltd. but till date nobody attended the call. Very surprised to note that Voltas Ltd. is still working. In my opinion, this company should immediately be locked so that other people who are willing to purchase Voltas Vertis or any other A/c from Voltas Ltd. should immediately change their decision and take another company's a/c.                                 Voltas AC from GOPI AGENCY - G. T Road Panipat. and last 1 month my AC

                                I puchased Voltas Vertis 1.5 in April, 2009. On July, 27, 2009, the compressor of AC stopped functioning. Today is 7th August, 2009, nothing has been done from Voltas. I have a very bad expereince and Voltas and the poor manufctuing defects of AC also bad experience of Voltas Service Centres. I think I have gambled my savings of Rs.22, 000/ over Voltas. Alas !

AC started working but the service guy detected some fault in the remote so he took the remote with him. I followed up this at customer support and M/s Prakash Refrigeration & Electrical. But nothing was done. Lastly i lodged a complaint again (Comp. No. 09JU241672). And reminded this at customer support so many times. But nothing was done. I did not get the remote yet. Moreover, i lodged a complaint about non functioning of AC on 4th august '09 (Complaint no. 09AU040383). Your service person came on 06/08/09 and told there is no gas in the AC. They told that they will come tomorrow and will rectify the problem. But till today nothing was done even though i reminded it at customer support n numbers of time. And their servive vendor M/s Prakash Refrigeration & Electrical people behave in such a rude manner that i cant explain.

                                I dont know how they people are running the business. Why they people are spoiling the name of TATA group. It has been around 2 and 1/2 months and still they have not return the remote.
                                I bought AC-Split-Vertis in Delhi on 11th of July, installed on 15th, from a very renowned dealer but to my agony :
                                The product came out to be of poor quality as the cooling effect is not upto mark
                                Further the Installation was so poorly done by the inexperienced that the company people have come 4 times since 15th but the result is not only the same poor cooling but they have also broken the swing blades and the gas for the cooling has also got leaked by these inexperienced engineers.
                                I have spent 32000/- on this machine but I feel being cheated by the big brand.I have thought of taking the company to the court and show it to the world that how Big Brands ignore the customer values.
                                This is in continuation to my mail just 17hours back.The service agent appointed by VOLTAS in East Delhi had sent two engineers to look into the issue of non working of cooling and the wrong installation of Inside unit.As I am away to Mumbai these people came and told my OLD Father that may be the Gas is not full in the compressor so they filled in the gas.That shows that from the begining only the Unit was defective. due to lack of proper installation.The swing blades have broken by the the engineers who had visited two days back.However, It started giving the cooling effect to some extent.The moment these people left after half an hour their was again the leakage of water from the inside unit started.And now in the evening even that cooling effect has gone. WE HAVE BEEN CHEATED BY THE DEALER AND THE SERVICE AGENT OF "V O L T A S".I want either my money be refunded or the unit be replaced immediately or else face the tune of the court.
                                I am also a fool to purchase the Voltas Split AC last year May2008 and within two month it was
                                taken to factory for repairs and while installation itself the mechanic commented the sub stanard tubes
                                made of aluminium and some piece of copper and called for a life long head ache. Now every
                                month it stops give cooling and making our head hot and the mechanic collecting money for repairs

                                The net consumer value is a life long perrnial HEAD ACHE

                                I have purchased a Vertis 2 Ton split Air Conditioner on 24.4.05 from FREEZCO PVT LTD Bhubaneswar.From the day of purchase I am facing problem. Every year I am spending about Rs.1200 for change of different type of relay.This year I spend about Rs.10000 for a dedicated stabliser and getting a direct connection to the ac machine from the main pannel board. Still it is not working. I am thinking of disposing the same and never to buy a TATA product.I purchased the TATA product because I am proud to be an Indian to buy an Indian product.

                                  Two years ago, i installaed one split AC of 0.8 ton from Voltas. Its sealed system is still under warranty.
                                  This ac stopped functionning this month and i lodged the service request on Voltas centralised service system / call center on April 14, 2008 ( complaint number 08AP140342). The first time i was told that the service technician would attend within 48 hours. No body visited. After waiting for one week, i started following up with the call center giving reference to my complaint number, everytime i am told that the technician is visiting today. Finaaly, i approached the website of Voltas to fing two email addresses, one of Head, Mumbnai Region, Mr A K joshi and second of Prakash, and sent them email on 25th April, 2008 requesting for intervention, but to my surprise, both the emails bunced back.

                                  We donot expect the poor service support from the TATA group compny, who claim to have INDIA KA AC.
                                  Yes, they truly have INDIA KA AC-----No service Support. The other MNC have very quick service backup and truly respond back within 48 hours.

                                  This is the status of VOLTAS Service in MUMBAI...What to talk of small cities? Finally, i am being forced to get the repairs done in open market, inspite of having warranty.

                                  My strong recommendations... dont get carried away by INDIA KA AC...DONOT BUY VOLTAS AC - or else have a failed AC in peak summer...INSTEAD buy some brand which gives good after sales...GODREJ is one definitely...

                                  voltas is very poor in service even in chennai, i got a new ac in march 2008, and i had been facing problem as they did a improper instalation, inspite of calling the service severl time they do not respond. I sugest DO NOT go for VOLTAS AC. I never expected such a bad service from TATA
                                  have brought a 1.5 voltas ac in chennai, it is jus three months old and started giving problem and inspiite the customer after sales service is very very bad in chennai, every day we have to call and ask for the service person and no one will attend your problem, but you will have them said they will atend today, the worst i have ever seen, that too from a company like TATA. i suggest go for some good MNC ac, like LG, Samsung or ogeneral not VOLTAS, if the service in a metro is so bad think of the service in rural area and other small places. it is beter to avoid the company than to get problems in peak summer

                                  I do agree with the comments on Voltas. Just purchased an AC on 7th feb '09. The hiccup started soon after installation. Technician found that there are some faults, but unable to idenity. Finally left on day-1 with no positive signs. To my surprise, I got an acknowledgement that your service call for installation has been resolved!!! I tried to re-open the complaint with voltas customer care. The customer care executive was even reluctant either to re-open or to register a fresh complaint. Finally he got the complaint registered. To wait and see how it progress!!!

                                  Amar Singh Club, Jammu purchased Voltas ACs from you in the year 2007. At the very beginning of installation of A/Cs, one A/C was not functioning properly. We requested so many times for its service/replacement. Your company engineers visited the club many times but could not set right the A/C. Ultimately the A/C was replaced by another AC. But by replacing the AC the problem could not be solved as the AC installed also not functioning properly. The Engineer of your company have tried to set right the defect but could not set right the same with the result that Club Management is facing embracement from Hon’ble members.
                                  We request you once again to please take personal interest and ensure that the AC is got set right within 2 days. If it is not repairable the same may be replaced immediately. In case it is not done, we shall have no option but to approach the Consumer Court for a relief.

The authorised Service Centre of VOLTAS Ltd.at Saheed Nagar hasn't repaired or replced the remote control since more than two months now. We are facing untold misery in this heat without being able to use our AC. We r being assured it will be done any day now, since two months. We are absolutely frustrated at your after sales service. I purchased Voltas One TON AC to trust the name of TATA in the month of October last year. last year the AC could be used only for few days. Repeated complaints to Service Center have failed to rectify the fault which appears to be in remote System. AC if closed with Remote starts Automatically without even touching the remote and frequently gets off after 2 to 3 seconds and again starts ad canot be used for long time, The same is lying USELESS at my place. Sometime the remote gets struck and does not Accepct any Command. My Disatisfaction Report in The Remarks Coloumn did not responded by the Voltas. The complaint has been attended twice without any Result. Complaint No 110454 and 80271 reffers.
                                  As the season of AC is coming to End I request you to get the Complaint attended Without delay Delay. Or else replace the Unit as the same has a manufacturing Defect and I do not Expect a company of TATA group to supply such Defective Material.

                                  I purchased a Voltas split A/C 50T VERTIS HW AIRCON on 21st March from CHAWLA Refrigeration Shahadra Delhi vide retail Invoice No 2505.
                                  On installation itself the compressor was found defective, it was
                                  immediatly reported to Chawla Refrigeration and VOLTAS service
                                  center. It was inspected by the the service center engineer and
                                  declared defective.
                                  However, to my horror surprise it has not been replaced yet and
                                  today another person visits and says it will be inspected again and
                                  a report will be made then only some action will be taken.

                                  The attitude of the Seller and VOLTAS company is totally unexpected
                                  and no one seems to be bothered about the consumer and the
                                  reputation of the Company.

                                  May i request you to intervene to get my brand new airconditioner

                                  I spent twenty years in Jamshedpur. We are so fascinated that where ever it is possible, we buy TATA product. When I decided to have an air conditioner, I decided for VOLTAS. I bought 1.5 ton Vertis Premium Split AC vide invoice no. 154 dt. 26.05.2009 from M/s S.K.Enterprises, Patna, and the machine was installed vide service report dt. 23.05.09 ( Serial No. Indoor 4551075 PO 9 D 004989 and Outdoor 4511071 P 09 Doo3445 with Motor [protected]). Ever since it was installed, the machine is giving continuous noise. It was checked on 05.08.09 and it was noticed that when the cover ( body) was removed, there was no noise. Machine was checked by service engineer and was found OK. But when cabinet was placed, it started giving extra sound.
                                  Further there was problem in the remote right from beginning. There was a black patch on the screen and thus functions were not easily visible.
                                  Machine was serviced again on 04.03.10 and the complain remained the same. It becomes difficult to sleep with the noise, the machine is making.
                                  Kindly advise your service centre at Patna ( Mr. Gaurav [protected]) on the possibilities of a permanent remedy. I am afraid that problem is solved within its warrantee period. Kindly acknowledge and attend the problem.

                                  We have purchased Voltas Elite split ac from M/s Vasanth &co, West Thambaram 15 days back. The company took 5 days for delivery and three days for installation. After installation the Service persons abruptly left without seeing whether it is working or not. We have also lodged a complaint immediately. But one service person by name Gothandam repeatedly told he will come to day, next day and so on. Even after the lapse of 10 days out investment in the a c is utter waste and it has not worked even a single minute. When we called area service manager repeatedly for many times he not even attend his mobile. So dear customers please dont purchase any TATA product since they are least bothered about customers and are only money minded. As and when money changed to their hands they just forget the customer and go for another person to squeese money. This is my experience.

                                  My voltas ac 1.5 vertis was installed on25/04/2010 and I am having a lot of complaints.I curse myself for having bought a tata ac.Service is so poor.
                                  The installation was done in such a pathetic way(voltas authorised person - Chennai Cool Care) & the 2 technicians(aged 18yrs) who had come to install it were very rude.Firstly they demanded Rs 2500 for installation which I was told was free.After he confirmed with his employer, they asked me for 2 metal angles to fix the outdoor unit.They had those angles with them & told me it costs Rs.800.When I told them I will get it from a hardware store near by (where it costs 450), they told me they had to elsewhere to install & they could not wait till I got the metal frame.and that they would return the next day to do the installation(Satish).After installation, only one blade of SWING was moving.
                                  When I pointed it to him, he forced it down & it broke.The outdoor unit was very noisy & when I complained two other experts had come.After inspecting, they said it was all due to defective installation.
                                  My ac does not cool the. room at all!!!(basically that was my intention & need).Authorised attendants were dispatched.I was told that gas had leaked & so he refilled it.It was working for the next 15min.The attendant had left by then.Also one of the person who was chewing paan had the audacity to spit it in my bathroom & did not bother washing it alsoAt night when I switched it on...status quo(as before the technician came).He came again & refilled gas which promptly leaked. Again after examining the unit, he said the leak was due to faulty installation.And that the indoor as well as the outdoor unit have to be taken to their workshop to diagnose & rectify the fault.Even after 3 days they are yet to come.Now I am left with no choice but to go the consumer court
                                  We buy a voltas ac which the service is not good.Because the service mans of voltas are not quantified and there behavior are not good from customers.I am not satisfied from this company product.We was making several telephone and mobile but they don't replay us.But they also said that we are not doing anything.I m saying to all my friend that please don't buy the ac of this company.My name is Mr.Purshottam Gupta and my contact no. is [protected].

                                  Remote not available in the package but they have installed claiming that they will provide the remote in a day. Even after 1 month after installation, I m yet to get the remote..following are the mails & I have called then every 3 days & still following...I don't know when it is going to be addressed

                                  I have bought a Voltas Vertis Plus G AC 1.5T and it was installed at my house on 15th of February 2011. On the day it was found that the remote was not available in the package. The service guy told that we will get the remote on the next day. But still I didn't receive the remote. I have called the customer care too, I am yet to receive the remote. Because of this we were unable to use the AC for past 2 Weeks. I didn't expect this type of after sales support from your organization. Please take the step to provide the remote as soon as possible

                                  I am yet to get any response for the below complaint that I have raised via your website long time back. We were also calling the customer care in the interval of every 3 days from the day of installation (15th Feb) just for a delivery of remote set. Always the answer is " the remote will be delivered within next 3 days". But all the times it is defaulted and I haven't get a single call till now from the customer care on the delay/not delivering the remote set.

                                  Today also we have called the customer care (Ref no: 11MR1101388 ) and it seems like we are not going to get the remote by EOD. Its almost one month we were unable to use the AC inspite of paying the full amount in advance. Is this the way you deal with the after sale customer support?
                                  Very Very Bad Experience. Even We purchased our Voltas Vertis Classic 1ton split ac in April 2010. We faced problem with the unit in March2011 of not cooling at all and after we switch on the unit the AC was getting switch off after 10minutes. we called voltas service unit and their serviceman said that its a problem of gas leakage from the outer unit but didnt complain anything about the AC (wall unit) and the ac needs to be taken for repair purpose to the workshop. Another day two people came to uninstall the ac from M/s. Kwic AC Works and they said there is problem with the inner unit too. Hence they need to take both the inner and outer unit for repair work to their workshop and will return the unit in two days time. But after great follow up they returned our AC on Saturday i.e. 8 days after taking the AC to workshop. To our surprise, our brand new scratchless outer unit was with loads of scratches and paint has also fallen on the same. It looks like they have returned any old piece of outer unit in exchange of our brand new one. Like reverse exchange offer Naya do aur Juna lo. In addition to this they have not even fitted the outer unit properly as they have installed the same on just One Screw on one side only. From my experience i will never recommend voltas to anybody in my life.

The first 2 months it worked fine, but we were never happy with the cooling. we have a 2 ton AC and the cooling is not quite enough. the company service center send their person and, it was a gas leak problem. In 4 days the AC was sent back to us, but we are not satisfied wit the cooling.. and secondly, the persons could not install the AC and the unit in thesame place.. It is a mess..

                                  I stay in Dombivli, bought a Voltas split AC on 27th Apr. 2010. I faced problem on 15th Apr 2011.
                                  I launched a complaint (Complaint No : 11AT1500448) which was redirected to my nearest service center i.e. in Kalyan service center for fixing up the issue.
                                  But no one is giving proper answers on phone. All are very rude in answering.
                                  This type of support was not at all expected from company like TATA.
                                  me too facing a similar problem in Goa, and the worse part is that inpsite of we writting so many mails to the headoffice/ regional office, no one is even bothered to response.

                                  I bought the Voltas Premium Split A/C on 28/07/2011, its just been 13 days and cooling is not proper. I called the Voltas customer care to send an engineer to diagnose the problem , he said Gas is leaking out due to which cooling is not there. He said he will fill the gas but we dont the gas to be put as this will persist again .. its just been 13 days so we wanta new A/C. I was in an impression that Voltas is good company and is poineered in the manufacturing of A/CC but this is really disppointing as the product we bought is not at all good . Its very unstatisfying that even after spending so much amount by the consumer the product offered by the company is giving so many problems.

                                  I would request you to please look into the same and please help us in getting a new Split A/C.

                                  we have purchased 3 split 2ton ac's for PAU ludhiana one year back one of them not working properly from the very first day of installation and is in the same condition after one year now the suppliar has said no guaranty after one year we are getting it repaired from the private personals on cash payment but the co. never bother tc check time and again break downs .Now the Punjab Agricultural University has decided not to purchase voltas product specially AC's
                                  Suggesions;-well qualified trained young persons should be deputed for attending complaints.No. of complaints will be more as per sale so more no. of persons will be required for up dating the pending work which is not done so it seems people will naturally not show interest in further purchasing specially AC's
                                  I made a request with Voltas AC Customer care on 31th May 2012 for dismantaling and installation of my Voltas Spilit AC to near by location and the complaint number was 12my3103470.

                                  Till this date there was no response from Voltas service people to attend the service request they calls to verfiy if I am willing pay Rs.3000 for installation where as custoner care informed me that Rs.1500 towards charges for dismandlling and installation.

                                  It seems there was no coordination between Voltas service centre and the local service representative.

                                  I never expect this sort of service from TATA Voltas.

                                  It is proved that TATA Group not meeting the customer expectation and they simply project their brand image and not to follow business ethics.

                                  Do not get carried away their brand image. It was worst experience for me and do not go for VOLTAS.

                                  Voltas customer service is the worst...compared to standard ACs...it sucks...really... don't purchase voltas AC...

                                    on 20/05/2008. after installtion we found they fix show room unit so agent Dasmesh Airconditioning Eng. changed anther new on 22/5/2008 working ok. 29/8/2008 Ac not cooling we called your service center. they came and found gas leak. this is for your information. Installtion o[censored]nit is very bad condition and due to this gas leaking it will efect on compressure soon. 21/5/2009 Ac not working i made request customer service technician came on 22/05/2009. found gas leak again so they want charge the gas and charges will be 1800 rs. so what i wil do for my Split unit

                                    I bought two voltas air conditioners for with which I was provided 2 free service for each. I had requested their customer care to do the same but in the last 17 days they haven't responded positively. My ticket number issued by voltas is 10MR2403472 and 10MR2403483.

                                      WE PURCHASED VOLTAS VERTIS PLUS 1.5TON SPLIT AC ON 07.06.2007 FROM KATARIA &CO. AUTH. DEALERS OF VOLTAS AT FAZILKA,DIST.FEROZPUR(PUNJAB)...AFTER INSTALLATION OF THE AC ITS COOLING WAS NOT GOOD AND THERE WAS LEAKAGE OF WATER FROM THE AC,WE INFORMED THE DEALER ABOUT IT AND HIS RESPONSE WAS NOT GOOD...AFTER MANY DAYS HE SENT VOLTAS PEOPLE AND THEY TOLD US THAT THE AC SHOULD BE REPLACED AND THE DEALER AGREED TO CHANGE THE AC IN 2-3 DAYS BUT AFTER TWO THREE DAYS HE EVEN DIDNT PICKED OUR PHONE CALLS NOR HE IS CHANGING OUR AC...WE HAVE COMPLAINED TO VOLTAS ALSO BUT NO ACTION IS TAKEN BY THEM...

                                      I have recently purchased Voltas 1.5 ton Vertis split ac. Even my AC is showing the same problems: no cooling, water leaking etc. I complained dealer 4 or 5 times, even he sent the service guys but they failed to rectify the problem. Now they are not taking it seriously. Not replying at all and problem is as such.
                                      You tell me what should I do. Should I go to consumer court againast the dealer and the company or there is some other way of getting the problem done.
                                      yes you should serve legal notice to your dealer...and if necessary you must go to consumer court...
