It’s impossible to go through all the mismanagement and customer negligence we have experienced from Zerodha so I would try to make it brief.
First experience:
We applied for a corporate account for our company on March 9th, 2021, Since then till April 5th, 2021 it was a nightmare of 20+ email back and forth, not receiving responses to email for 8-10 days, asking for same documents over and over again, falsely claiming that POA is mandatory and so on. After a month of this experience we stopped and tried a different broker where we had a smooth experience.
Second Experience:
On 12th April, 2021 someone form the Zerodha team reached out to me again and explained some of the issues I had with the last experience, so I decided to give them a second chance and told them to continue with the account opening on May 25th a month later as I was busy.
Initially the responses this time was pretty quick, they instructed me how to send the forms to Zerodha office and I quickly filled them all up and sent it to them. On 4th July the documents got delivered to them.
But since then it was the same old story and I started regretting this decision again.
No response for 10+ days. This time I raised a complain again and asked to cancel the account and send me back the docs.
On 17th June (13 days after the documents delivery ) I received a response from them saying that they have received the docs and the account will be opened in 6-7 days.
Since then I’ve been writing them for an update and have not received a single response till now (18 days and 12 working days)
I have also raised a 3rd complain with them telling them to cancel the account again and send back the docs but as usual did not got any response.
I also had tried calling their support number but each time it gets disconnected when I opt for talking to a representative.
Hands down this has been the worst possible experience we have ever faced. We want our account to be cancelled ASAP and want them to send back all our documents as that is not for a third party to keep.
