I had placed an order with ovenstory pizza, mulund west, mumbai today at 12:35 pm. The scheduled delivery time for the order was 1:20 pm. I've a screenshot of the entire order summary too.
Now, after waiting till 1:40 pm, i started calling up zomato customer care which got redirected to your partner restaurant. They told me that the delivery guy has already started from the place twenty minutes ago (I. E. 1:20 pm) and will reach my place in 10 minutes. Please note that the guy is already late from the scheduled time.
Now, at 1:50 pm (I. E. After 30 minutes of scheduled delivery), i again got in touch with zomato chat (I have taken a screenshot) and asked the person to cancel my order because it was already half an hour late. Your guy gave me rs. 223 zomato credits and gave me the standard apology response. The two kids in my house were hungry and ofcourse, there was no way i would have waited for your irresponsible delivery guy to get my food. So i told oven story as well as zomato chat person to cancel my order asap and refund my money back - i don't want any zomato credits or coupons.
Then, my family stepped out for lunch and then the delivery guy called me up at 2:10 pm (I have the call records) from [protected] that he's there at my place with piping hot pizzas. Well, you took one hour and thirty minutes to come to my doorstep with pizzas that were ready 50 minutes back!
And then, the guy marked the order as "delivered" even though no one took the delivery!!! You have already charged my credit card for the full amount.
This is a case of blatant cheating and i am going to take this case further. This is extremely pathetic. I expect you to refund me back my entire amount asap for the food that never reached my plate! Was this information helpful? |
