I had ordered food from a hotel called Fattoush in Bangalore. They confirmed the order and I got an SMS saying it will be delivered in an hours time. After 1.5 hrs when I called Zomato they said the delivery guy had left the hotel 15 mins back and will deliver my food in 5 minutes. After 30 mins I again called Zomato and then they said my order got cancelled because the hotel can deliver to my location.
Now, my simple question is, the moment the hotel/zomato knows my location, why didn't they cancel my order immediately? Why make me wait for 1.5 hours and later after me calling them they say it is cancelled? In fact the first time i called they said delivery guy was on the way! Are you all lying to customers? Is this how you treat a customer? If you don't know how to handle, why do you even have a delivery system in the first place?
I do not want an apology. I do not want any credits. All I want to know is why did you lie when the hotel had decided not to deliver the food in the first place?
ZOMATO are LIARS! ZOMATO are worst delivery systems!!!
