This is not the first time this has happened with zomato online food delivery. I had ordered from Subway and had already paid for it. The worst part is that I got only half the order that I had asked for. Called up the resto, they asked me to contact zomato. Zomato has only chat support so you can't even talk to a real person. And no guarantee of a helpful response either. I messaged on zomato chat support. The agent kept on procrastinating and at the end of one hour had achieved nothing. The agent said they were unable to contact the resto. So, I called the resto again and they said that they had prepared the correct order. They asked me to keep in contact with the resto. In the end, the result was that I ended up threatening the chat agent about an escalation about the issue and they replied saying 'sure'.
