I was informed by Air India Express that the flight IX194 (Dubai-Lucknow) dt 29 Jan 202 in which my mother in law was booked is cancelled and I need to cancel the flight. I cancelled the ticket (PNR # QRYQJM) flight on 23-Jan-21. At the time of cancellation I was advised that refund should appear in my account/card within 2 weeks.
After 2 weeks, when I followed up with Air India Express I was advised to have patience.
After about 5 weeks I received an email that a voucher has been issued and sent to my email address and an email address was provided in the email message which was different from my email ([protected]@yahoo.com) on which I received the email. After I pointed out that I did not receive the voucher, I did not receive any response. I didn't even receive any acknowledgement of my email to air india express customer support.
I request you to kindly process my refund immediately. I also advice that voucher is not acceptable to me. I'd need refund in my account/card through which the payment was made as cancellation was not my choice but it was because Air India Express cancelled the flight. Was this information helpful? |
