We booked a returned ticket of Aizawl to Shillong on 06/06/22 and scheduled to return on 9/9/22.
We reached Shillong Airport on 09/06/22 as per schedule only to be informed that Flight is cancelled due to technical reason. When I asked why we were not informed about that, the station manager said that they informed every passengers and showed me some call he stated to have received regarding flight cancel.
As nothing gonna change by arguing, I asked the master if there is alternate arrangement to which he said that we could either go on the next scheduled flight or claim full refund. As there is no surety that the next flight wont be cancelled, we prefer to opt Full Refund. Accordingly, the station master certified on the ticket that the customer are eligible for full refund as flight had been cancelled.
Accordingly, after reaching home, I claimed refund through email to the Alliance Air email Id. I received reply immediately from the Airline with the text that the matter has been escalated to the concerned department for necessary action.
It has been almost one and half months that there is no further response from the Airline. I also talked to the customer care executive but they were very rude besides giving no reliable and responsible reply to my grievances.
I want my booking be fully refunded within a time.
