Off late, apple products are running into hardware issues exactly after the warranty expires. This is the 2nd phone that has started having hardware problem exactly after a month from the warranty date.
So, as per apple's authorized center icare services, i was told that if it’s a replacement, i need to pay inr 50, 0000. This is a standard practice across all apple’s authorised centers where they immediately provide replacement as the 1st option. This seems unethical that apple support centre’s immediate solution is to push another phone.
This center has been holding onto my phone for last 1 month without any update and upon calling apple customer care, i have been asked to wait for another 2 days.
Requesting the forum to investigate the ethical practices by apple & its authorised service center, where apple products are turning defective just after the expiry period. For me as layman, this seems like unscrupulous way of boosting sales by selling new phones. Was this information helpful? |
