Just thought to highlight the situation happened with me. I have an iphone 6-16gb. My phone was automatically restarted while using or not using. It was from last 15 days.
I went to apple store in ‘hsr layout 27th main road, bangalore, india’ to rectify the same and the engineer told me that there might be a hardware issue which will cost me 28800 rupees including the service charge, if i repair it. I believe there are no more production of iphone 6-16gb in the market and if i go for the new phone for 32gb its cost is less than the repair cost.
Then i tried myself by surfing and found the way to repair my phone and i did it. I just rebooted my phone and restored the phone through itunes from my laptop. Now my phone is working perfectly.
Understanding the fact that it is apple and its expensive, but never thought the engineers will be giving such kind of advice that the customer has to rethink whether to go ahead or let it be because we as a customer will never what they will be doing after taking the phone and will charge such a huge amount.
Request if it can be resolved by keeping the transperancy between the engineers and the customer, so that the belief in apple products and services remains good.
