The offer to replace Battery of 6 was announced, it was working absolutely fine, but since this created a panic, we went and got it replaced in the Apple official service Center,
Two mts done the line, it just was charging up to 100 % in 2 mts and draining out in few seconds,
We approached the service Center, they said you need to do some settings in the phone we tried that, nothing changed, till three mts the service Center, kept this Stand, the moment 3 mts wa over they said your Warnenty was over, and now we were asked to buy one now,
Approached Apple customer Care
They did some online testing and confirmed that hand set is ok,
And asked us to take it back to the service Center.
We took it again, they took it and said they have to send it to their factory, they took the phone, now they say that the battery is swollen, it has to be replaced,
For a faulty battery that they put in replace to our good one, we are haveing to pay for a new one .
So this just gives me the feeling, that this gimmick of exchanging a battery free, is to put a faulty one . An dmake is buy another battery .
Sad state of affair
And the customer Care, service Center only pass on the buck to each other to avoid, taking action .
For us who have been using all Apple products, this has been an eye opener to look at other products.
