My hubby gifted me iphone6 from amazon a month back. But after completing 3 weeks its home button stopped working beside that it started rebooting abruptly. I was not able to call or connect to network because of the multiple reboots. When i showed it to apple service centre they said its been repaired and i should take the same device or should go to store from where i bought and ask them to replace it. Now by saying this apple service centre was giving random reply to replace the device. When i asked for reply he came up with that "when any component does not work we replace it". When i asked him what does he mean by component he replied any hardware component. So i reminded that home button is hardware component and they replaced that panel, which should not have happened at first place. They should have replaced the device. As software (As it was rebooting randomly) and hardware (I. E home button too was not working) both were malfunctioning device should be replaced. To which apple service centre guy replied either take it or leave it.
Either amazon or apple both have been selling refurbish device on discount or cheating people. As it was not even month and iphones both software and hardware was not working properly. I need iphone to be replaced as that is not an appropriate product to use if its functioning this way. Amazon should be more careful towards selling this kind of products to customer.
