Apple India — Faulty Apple Watch SE

Since Apple Watch SE has been advertised to be water resistant and you can track your swimming laps I went swimming with the watch on and once I was out of the pool it stopped working. I sent it to the service center under warranty and they didn’t do anything except tell me I need to purchase a new watch.
