I've been a frequent customer of Apple for the past 10 years. My perception of Apple has been set due to the longevity & quality of its products. But that is not my experience in the recent times.
On January 1st of 2021 I purchased an iPhone 11. Only after 6 months, the battery life started to deteriorate too fast without any particular reasons. After waiting for some more moths I approached Apple Service Center & submitted the product for almost a day for a detailed diagnosis. The battery health was around 92% then; and the service representative ignored the problem stating that according to apple diagnosis the health is fine & the product is running at its best. I waited again to see if some software updates might fix the issue, but unfortunately the battery life is getting worse to a state that the product is rendered useless.
I also have access to some other mobile phones & its battery experiences. It is unacceptable to see that a product that I paid INR 54, 900 who's battery life is similar to none and speakers not woking properly while a phone half the price from a company like Vivo lasts more than that of this phone which is older than 2 years.
When checking the battery health, it stays still at 83% but doesn't even last 2 hours properly. I can't imagine that health going below 50%.
My faith in Apple for your service will depend on the action on this experience as I would like to push for a Replacement of the faulty product that is not worth its price Was this information helpful? |
