I spent 2 hours with an apple customer support executive trying to resolve my iphone problem, after which i spent some time over chat with another apple customer support executive.
After this, i decided to take this to your service centre (B2x, sardar patel road, chennai). I explained to them that they must go through my case history before recommending next steps. Your centre staff then mentioned that checking my phone would take 2 hours at the minimum. I do not know what they did, but at the end they mentioned that the phone could not be fixed and that they were planning to send it to bangalore for repairs.
I got a call the very next evening saying the issue had been fixed, the phone had been flashed and that i could pick it up.
Well, we went today to pick it up. The phone had been flashed. We came home and restored our back-up, enabled 2-factor authentication, and lo, we have exactly the same issue as before.
This is a phone under warranty. I have been without my phone for 6 days. I have travelled 120km to your service centre (Thrice over 2 days). I am in exactly the same place as i was last week.
Can someone show some sensitivity and care to resolve this as painlessly as possible, given that we have scaled down from a family with 2 ipads, an imac 27", 3 iphones, apple router, to just this one phone... Without tarnishing the apple brand any further?
I cannot even login to mysupport since 2-factor authentication has now been enabled... Was this information helpful? |
