The iphone 6 that was working perfectly fine till 4th April 2017 night has shut down on its own and not able to switch on from 5th April 2017. This has happened without any symptoms of any issue and just after 58 days of completing 1 year warranty period. The troubleshoot was commenced by contacting Apple support center, who tried to repair it from remote using steps involved in software issue repairs. Following the failed attempt, I was asked to visit iPlanet store, who carried out some checks which I don't have visibility of, and confirmed that it is a motherboard issue and that the only option is to purchase another unit, which will be available to me at INR 28, 000. My purchase of iPhone 6 had costed me INR 42, 000 and it did not serve me beyond 1 year 58 days and I am further asked to pay INR 28, 000 on a new unit. This is not acceptable to me as I am confident that such issues cannot arise on normal usage phones unless any major manufacturing defect waiting to come to surface. I demand that I be given a new iphone 6 free of cost as a replacement ASAP Was this information helpful? |
