My iphone6 16 gb (Imei : [protected]) has stopped working suddenly on 29.04.17 just after 5 weeks of expiry of warranty period and the set is presently deposited to apple authorised service centre against a non-refundable payment of inr 1600 for checking the problems only.
This is absolutely not acceptable that such a reputed and costly product gets such problem within this short period of time whereas i have used numerous mobile sets of different companies during last 15-16 years without any such issues and visiting any service centre at all!
It's good that it happened just before i was going to purchase a new iphone 7 for my wife on our 10th anniversary next week. It seems now better to spend the money on competition brands which is not that costly and i had not encountered with such bad experience of product life and additional cost on set.
However, i expect a free replacement of the product from apple india to keep their face of reputation and customer retention.
