Hello,
I have been an android user since as far as I can remember.
I just bought my iPhone 7plus jet black 3 weeks back. It all seemed fine until few days back my original USB cord when plugged into the device wouldn't charge my phone and it would start beeping every time I plugged it in. I saw that the metal chips on the cord had started to corrode which is absolutely absurd since it's been just 2 weeks! I took it to the local Apple Store where they told me it's due to contact with liquid which I am really sure is not and they told me this wouldn't be covered in the warranty and asked me to get a new cord .
This is very sad and least expected from a company like yours for I am a new iPhone member and would like to have an honest good opinion about it but alas, this happened! :(
I hope you take this into consideration and please do the needful urgently.
