I had placed an order for an iPhone 11 under the Diwali offer of Apple India estore. The order was placed on Oct. 17 and we were awaiting the delivery of the product tomorrow. Today, while checking the staus of the order online, I came to know that the order has been cancelled and the site says that I have cancelled it. I did not cancel the order and have undergone a lot of mental stress and trauma due to this cancellation. Today, after great diffuclty I managed to speak to a customer care exec at Apple and he informed me that someone, from their back office, was trying to contact me and since I did not answer the phone they cancelled the order.
I have following issues with this statement :
1. Why was someone from backend conacting me, when I have alreay provided all details on the order.
2. Why I was not sent an e-mail, if I did not answer the phone.
3. Why does the site say that I have cancelled the order, whereas, it was cancelled by Apple.
These actions violate my rights as a customer and I have undergone immense mental stress and trauma. I would like this matter resolved and would like the order reinstated and delivered in totality.
