I recently bought a iphone 6s plus, there came a pair of ear pods in the box. Only after using for a month or so i noticed some bubbles forming on the cable surface. Earlier i thought it as nothing serious as the sound quality was not affected by it. But then after further use one of the bubble bursts and the wire underneath is exposed. I visited a service centre in delhi for the same, they suggested me to call the customer care number and provided me with a number. After speaking to the customer care i was asked to send the pictures of the same, which i did. The case number is[protected]. After watching at the pictures the customer care people suggested me to go to a service centre again and call back from there. Did exactly as instructed.
After doing all this, suddenly the customer care people recalled that they cannot do anything on service part of any device, that they are only there to provide the software support and commented that i have burned the ear pods.
I like to know who on earth will burn a brand new ear pods? And if the customer care is there to provide support for only software why did they ask for the pictures the first place. The service centre people say and recognise that the damage to the cable is not caused by me, still they cannot help me, as its physical damage. Off course it is physical damage but then the damage is not because of normal wear and tear from normal use the physical damage is because of the poor quality manufacturing or poor material used in manufacturing.
