I had found manufacturing defect - problem in my i-phone 10. There was black spots on the display and phone heating issues within 4 months of purchase. I asked for phone replacement as it is the policy of apple us. Phone which come with parts replacement (Refurbished phones) are sold at lower rate.
In usa, if there is problem during warranty period, they replace the phone and not the parts. They dont do repair work. When i gave my phone to apple service centre, they could not give explanation why the problem occurred, i contacted their customer care number of times. They say that in us, they replace the phone and india the policy is to repair. Finally, they repaired my phone, rather than replacement. Apple has different policy for customers depending on the country. Since india customers are not as sensitive, they are happy with repair work, they tend to do this, where as for us customers they do phone replacement. I am highly dis satisfied with apple policy for treating indian customers as lower than us customers. Was this information helpful? |
