I bought my ihpone 6s about 8 months ago and on 4th Match 2018 my phone dropped in a bucket of water accidently and i took it to the Koramangala Service center on 5th March 2018 and they said it cannot be repaired because its a liquid damage so i told them i have an insurance which i bought with my phone at the Imagine store . They told me the process to claim the insurance and said it will take 8-10 days. I followed the process so i called the apple customer care and intimated them that i want to claim my insurance. They said they will send me a link and i should fill in all the details and i would get an AMP number and with that number i can take my phone and few documents and go to the koramangala service center and submit eveyrhting. They said they will send me the link in half an hour when i called them and that day i had to call them about 4 times to get the link it was already 9 in the night and when i made my last call they said tomorrow we will provide the link. Next day in the morning when i called them they said no we were not able to find any details so you dont need a link just go and submit your phone to the service center and the rest we will take care. I did that and i went to the service center they refused to take my phone without the AMP number or the email link. so i called the customer care in front of them again and the executive informed the service center to collet the phone . I submitted all documents and they said it will take 8-10 days for approval and claim. All the problem started after these 10 days.
They never called me to give any update or information or any news. i called the customer care after 10 days and asked for an update he said he's not able to only my accoutn and view anything so call back at 12.30pm, i called at 12.30 and another executive said there is some problem in viewing my profile but the insurance is in process and he will call me the next day and give me updates. I waited in the morning no one called so i called them and the executive said the same thing that there is some problem in viewing my profile and he will get back in the evening evening no one called me so again I had to follow up for the update and another executive picked up and said I would know within 2-3 days . I waited for another 2-3 days I had no update from the so called customer care service center so i called them and explained everything again and again i was told that they were not able to view so call later when the concerned team is available so i called them at 12.30 again and then explained the entire problem again to another executive yet again and they said it would take another 15- 30 days . I got furious, they were first of all not able to help me with any updates they couldnt find my information at all even though I had my bill and the insurance copay I had already waited for 14 days and they were asking me to wait for another 15 days and no one was giving me any updates they were just not able to find any information about insurance in my profile. They would always say " Not able to login to your account and see the details" I bought the insurance for 4 thousand with the phone at the apple store i even had the bill but they were just not able to give any details any information any updates. The worst service ever . They are so unfriendly, both at the service center and at the customer care center. Was this information helpful? |
