Axis bank deducted Charges in the amount of 10.03 inr on 23 Jan, 2022 from my account ending in 7690.
When inquired, they mentioned over the email the reason for the charges to be due to SMS Alert service.
I then called the Axis bank customer care (phone banking officer) on 25 Jan 2022 as I had DEACTIVATED the SMS alert service on my account in the year 2019. Customer care/phone banking officer over the phone call confirmed that SMS Alert is NOT ACTIVATED on my account and was surprised to see that these charges were deducted from my account.
I went back to responding and asking Axis bank to do the 10.03 inr amount refund/reversal, but they have been giving excuses in the name of SMS Alert service charges/fee.
As a last resort I am expecting you to help me in this regard as Axis bank is fooling customers like us time and again.
