Subject: - Operational Inefficiency of your staff leading to financial loss for the customer.
Reference: - My investment in wife’s name ( Suchitra Kane ) for 8% RBI Bonds No. TBUTI[protected], FOR Rs. 240000/- from your bank. My connected account no. [protected], with Sinhagad Road Pune.
With reference to the above mentioned investment, I want to keep the following example of inefficiency of your staff on record.
1) As the interest for the year 2018-19 was going to be Rs.56000/- Form No. 15G duly completed was submitted to the branch on 21/4/2018. This was submitted in-time. The acknowledgement from the concerned staff was taken with official stamp on my copy.
2) When the interest for the first quarter was credited to my account in July 2018, 10% TDS was deducted from my payment.
3) When I personally visited the branch in the first week of August 18, your operating Officer Mr. Amos Sawant coordinated with the concerned department and confirmed to me that the Form 15 G is updated. He verbally assured me that the wrong deduction will be refunded after the reconciliation in the month of October 18.
4) When the refund was not credited to my account, I again contacted Mr. Sawant on November 3, 2018.
5) Now after lot of efforts today I have received phone call from Mr. Sawant that now I will have to collect the said amount from Income tax Authorities after filing the return. I had already indicated the same in my first visit.
6) It is very disgusting experience and I hope at least now the updated record remains same for the next quarter interest payment and I get the interest credit without deduction of tax.
It is sheer in efficiency of your staff leading to financial loss for the customer. I hope this is attended positively with my knowledge.
