[Resolved] Bata India — footwear damaged on the same day of purchase

Sir, I have purchased one pair of ladies' chappal in th brand name "Scholl massagio" from Kochi M G Road branch of Bata Shoe Store on 15 Aug 2014, and the same got damaged on the same day While I was on the way to attend a party with my family. The sole of the footwear was seperated from the top cover of the same and found that is beyond any chance to repair, and I returned home without attending the party, this caused a lot of inconvenience to me and my family especially to my children. Next day I approached the dealer and they advised me to contact the customer service for the compensation of my loss. Here I am enclosing a scanned copy of the cash memo.
