I am Dr Lalatendu Mishra writing this letter to your company, you may not think it is complain, rather I would say please take this suggestion seriously. Why I am saying it is not complain, because I have not purchased anything this time. Yesterday I have received a gift voucher of Rs 1, 000/- from DELL Company and the voucher was related to BATA (MYGFTR BATA-Gift Code V[protected].Accordingly today evening I went to a BATA showroom in Janpath, Bhubaneswar, Odisha to enquiry about this voucher, but sorry to say the attitude, facial expression and behavior of the Gentleman in the cash counter is not tolerable at all and his answer was “NO” he did not wants to speak also. I felt as if I am beggar and for this he is reluctant to it. Immediately I contacted the DELL people and their answer was, everywhere BATA Showrooms are accepting, so you please contact the Floor manager. Again I went to that Gentleman and express my desired to meet the Floor Manger, but he immediately answered me in a rude voice that he is the floor manger, I also enquired his name, he told his name in a loud voice (I don’t want name now…..if desires later on).
Yes this is true! That BATA is the number one brand in India; but this has only possible because to the efforts of their quality and as well as the esteem attitude of their staffs. But that does not mean that in the reputation BATA, a costumer shall get this type service from the floor manager. You are the best judge!
Hope the company shall take this note seriously.

Hi Team,
Regarding Redeem points of gift voucher of BATA, I received the gift voucher by Today Morning. I wanted to purchase things from BATA showroom but I was unable to purchase as it was showing as it already has been redeemed in other shop.
I suspect, there is a discrepancy in voucher because I haven't used it anywhere before.
If we were supposed to use it anywhere, May I know where it has been used?
Or if we weren't supposed to use it before, May I know what could be the reason and why I was unable to redeem points from voucher?
Finally I called the customer care and raised a ticket(596449) against my gift voucher when I got frustrated.
More details I have given below
Order placed in the month of June 19th and I have received order on month of June 21.
But if we see the gift voucher, it shows as issued on the month of May 23. So it seems to be issues in gift voucher.kindly check it and revert to us ASAP.
And one more thing I need to convey here to your team that I haven't faced this kind of issues in my life and felt bad when I faced this issue in front of other people in showroom & got frustrated. Finally I lost my hope on bata gift voucher and also BATA, I hope you feel my pain.
Can you get it sorted out quickly as I am in urgency to use & purchase ?
