I purchased shoes thru online sale fm bata india website on 24th aug 2019 vide order # 12386758 amounting to inr 226.
However, due to some issue within bata india due to non availability of the product they initiated cancellation fm their end and confirmed that a refund shall be issued within 7 working days.
As the refund was not initiated back into my bank a/c as being teh payment channel, i was told that the issue would be resolved at teh earliest.
As the issue has been pending i had been contacting their toll free # for customer service and every time i reach them they confirm that the issue is in the process and the refund would be issued.
I also have been writing mails to their"customer. [protected]@bata.com" and "in-customer. [protected]@bata.com" and i only get an acknowledgement but no solution to the issue.
Even today i did write a mail and the latest reference # given is "new ticket - bm-128400 - bata".
I was told in the 3rd week of oct 19 that on 21st oct 19 a refund has been initiated to my bank a/c and i should be receiving the amt in the next few days.
Its now more than a month and the refund is still to get credited to my bank a/c.
I did share my bank account statements as requested and there has been no response.
Quite surprised with such an unprofessional attitude by bata india to resolve this issue inspite of my follow-up and their assurances which turned out to be false always. Was this information helpful? |
