hi, i am from chennai, i have applyed for a fresh passport through online registration and got appointment on june 12th, but rightnow i need the passport very quickly, so i have planned to apply through tatkal scheme. i would like to know whether on june 12th in which they have fixed appointment on that day itself can i apply for tatkal scheme orelse i have to do someother registration especially for tatkal, and if i am applying through tatkal...

Your enquiry number 139 is getting routed to 1750, i called 139 about 4 times and spoke to some person on who said that 139 is getting deviated to 1750 i asked him to rejister a complaint he disconnectd the call, can you please get this rectified ...

Hi Friends,

I worked in India in different organisations for about 14 years and during this period, i never discontinued my PPF account. When I left my last organisation in 2004, my friends suggested that if you don't need the money then it is better " not to withdraw the amount" as the interest rate on PPF is better than the other savings. I did the same as at that time I wanted to save the money.
