    Bus no: 519a
    Registeration no. Tn01n 5113

    Timing: 8:35 a. M

Today morning i have boarded in the bus 519a and i have asked the conductor to give the ticket from t. Nagar to kandanchavadi. Normally in that bus, the ticket fare is 13rs only. But the conductor gave me the ticket for thoraipakam for rs.15. And my co passenger asked the ticket for tidel and the conductor again charged extra for her and gave the ticket for kandanchavadi.

When i enquired with the ticket that he gave the ticket incorrectly, he shouted at me like anything.

He gave the ticket incorrectly and charging extra amount from us and shouting at people infront of everyone.

To the authorities of mtc, what kind of a behaviour is this i do not understand.

I did not ask for money from his pocket, nor did i pester him for the change. I asked him to give me the correct ticket.

I just want to know can authority take actions against that such kind of conductors who have no sense to talk even they ready to fight with passengers...

This is regarding the problem of men not vacating seats reserved for women.
I wonder if imposition of a decent fine(which should be leviable by the conductor) followed by frequent squad checks, help check this everyday concern. Nothing works like fear of monetary loss, these days. Gone are the days of chivalry. Now men only have rivalry towards their opposite sex. Anyway, I find that most conductors have an indifferent attitude on this issue, either out of fear or gender bias. Also, apart from the 'Magalir' sign, there should be a sign in the unreserved seating sections 'Podhu Idangal', as many men are suffering from the misconception that those seats are reserved for men. Often we come across guys arguing that they do not complain when women use "their seats" and so women must not complain when men sit in women's seats.

There used to be a prolonged struggle for the city route buses that ply from the city to stop at the Vandalur Railway Gate Bus Stop. In spite of repeated complaints and representations the MTC authorities never issued orders for the stoppage at the said bus stop. However due to persistent efforts of the general public and other welfare union activists, the MTC issued necessary orders to their crew members of all services, except the Volvo AC service to stop the buses at the Vandalur Gate Bus Stop. Except a very few crew other do not stop the bus at the bus stop. Non stoppage of the city route buses at the said stop causes a lot hardship to the regular bus travelers and to the people who miss the trains either way. Almost all the crew members are very adamant and they just override the instructions issued by their own authorities and skip the bus stop. If reported for non stoppage the authorities simply say that all buses do stop at the said stop, whcih is not a fact.

If the MTC crew are not interested in the stoppage at the bus stop, I would like to request the MTC authorities to utilize the vacant and unused land that is available on the left side of the down slope of the new over bridge constructed and opened recently, to put up a new terminus and a few new city routes convenient to the travelling public could be operated from this new terminus.

After entering checking people, asked me the ticket, Immediately he is shouting and holding my shirts and getting down.

          MTC- CHENNAI — MISBEHAVE

          Dear sir

On 13.11.2009 Around 11.20 My Wife caught a bus from ramachandra Hospital to Karayanchavadi thru Mtc Bus no: TN01 n 5665,

Becoz she is not felling well she could not able to stand, so she requested her ticket after taking her seat,

The conductor used vulgar words in front of fellow passengers for 50 Paisa change,

          Expecting your Action against this
IT IS NOT A COMPLAINT ACTUALLY BUT, IT IS THE PUBLIC EXPECTATION IS THAT DIGITAL BOARDS IN DELUX BUS IS A VERY GOOD PROCESS WHICH IS VERY USEFUL FOR THE DAILY COMMUTERS. BUT IN MANY OF THE NEW DELUX BUSES WHICH HAVE BEEN EXISTING I CANT SEE DIGITAL BOARDS IN IT. PLEASE LOOK AFTER THEM AND ATTACH THE DIGITAL BOARDS. THIS MIGHT MAKE THE PASSENGERS HELPFUL IN THERE TRAVELLING. I HOPE THAT THE MTC WILL TAKE NECESSSARY STEPS REGARDING THIS. THANK YOU.

            Dear Sir
I am Swaminathan working in a pvt company at Anna Nagar and residing at Perungalathur. I regularly come by train upto Nungambakkam and from Choolaimedu I take bus route no.47 and get down and 14 shop / K4 police station bus stop.

Specifically today[protected] I travelled in route no.47 (TN-01-N-4127) from Choolaimedu. Bus did not stop in the bus stop as a result all the passengers have to run to catch the bus. Since I am a heart patient, literally I find it difficult to run. When I request the conductor, why the bus is not stopped in the Bus stop. He started talking in a High Pitch. Besides, he had given a signal before all the passenges board the bus too. We too understand to maintain a croud etc. but he is nature is such that he is working for public. Kindly advice your conductors to behave decently with the public. He should have talk politely. He is getting salary from the amount we are paying for travelling, this he should keep it in mind. For your reference my ticket no is 282497. He need not to be punished thats not my moto, he should be guided to behave properly. Hope you will take necessary action on the conductor.

            Regards

            Swaminathan N
